Chess Moves ♟ Free chess game

This game is so good, both for playing alone against the computer, against someone in person and against friends over the Internet. I have one complaint, though: I was playing online against a friend of mine, and he stalemated me - but I got a notification that I lost, and in the record of past games it also shows that I lost. Please fix this bug! That will definitely make it five stars

Beautiful. But there is nobody to play online with!!! There is nobody in lobby. somebody is shown and it happens to be the engine itself. it is good for playing with engine only. Please make it online. i had rated 5 but not had to redice the ratings.

There should be a provision to take back the last move. As of now, if a piece is accidentally mispaced, it cannot be taken back. You have to restart the game. That's very much annoying.

8/18/17 PROS: Free. Play online with strangers and/or friends. Instant notifications of moves and chats. Clear indications of last move. Can look back through games step by step. Can have concurrent games. No time limit on moves or overall match. User interface easy and cool. Board customization. No score-based discrimination. Tips: Switch pieces taken to the correct side of the board because in real life a player has his/her opponent's pieces near them. Add the ability to block people you never want to play with again. I love that there are no time limits in this app, it makes it easy to do other things in life and then get back to the game, however, sometimes you want to play a quick game, so make it an OPTION (NOT required) to include a time limit on moves when creating a challenge. 8/21/17 Oh you're welcome and I look forward to those upgrades, thanks. I forgot to add that another great thing about this app is that no one has to register or login unless we so choose. My review is based on the fact that I have tried every other chess app that does not have crazy permissions, and this one (Chess Moves) is by far THE BEST. Thank you!

world best chess app for beginner.

While the computer is losing it does not give a move nor allows me to take back. Some times random positions occur when the computer is losing...????

Absolutely stupid, keeps saying it's a stalemate when I have plenty of pieces on the board or when it's clearly a checkmate, if the developer wants to get in touch then I'd be more than willing to provide screenshots

I like it, I play chess with my co-worker at lunch but you forgot to program some moves in like castling I was going to use this move to take his queen but when i tried to it didn't work I couldnt swap my king and rooks position and I had to block with a bishop he took it and won the game.

Please add chess clock for game ... Anyways smart way for two player playing, one suggestion one can have unique chess pieces which will look same from both sides... Try it , that will be historic achievement

It is just for two players. Single cant play. It is not good.

The application works for a bit of light play. I wish the application had an option to display only one board and flip the pieces for each player's turn. Additionally, my opponent wished to castle, and we were unable to figure out how to do it, if it is implemented. Re: developer response Thank you for instructing me on how to castle. We were attempting to multitouch or drag the king to the rook. The reason I'd like a single-board option is that we were playing on a nearly square screen, wasting space.

Just what I was looking for. Great for a local 2 player game of chess. Simple and clean. My only suggestion would be to add a setting for showing movement patterns of each piece. This feature would help new chess players a lot.

Please fix this or atleast make it an option where you can move into check I love this chess app it's my favorite but if you can't move into check, games will last forever in a stalemate I had to forfeit a match that I could've won, a game that only had two kings on each side but I had 1 queen

Can you make it possible for two friends play each other from their respective phones?. Or is there such an app already?

Now giving white and black nice perspective in a chess game. Now my chess friends don't need to rotate my phone anymore.
