WiFi Poker Room is a great replacement to traditional poker game with cards and chips. Not everyone owns chips and even though playing with real cards is fun - shuffling is not. With this app it takes just a second to shuffle and deal cards. Bet amounts, pots and winnings are all counted for you, no room to make a mistake. You cannot bet or fold out of turn which often happens in home games. In our experience, it makes home games about 3 to 4 times faster. Being card dead can ruin a poker evening. If you can play 80 hands in an hour instead of 20 you will have a much bigger chance to actually play some good poker.
Local multiplayer nature of the game allows you play with friends around you. Observing your opponents reactions is a big part of Texas Holdem poker. You may end up making a great call or a ridiculously good fold only because you saw your friends shaky hands. Online poker does not give you this opportunity.
Playing at home is fine but why not play on the move? This 4 hour car trip, or even longer flights, might be much more tolerable if you could enjoy some good poker. Make a hotspot out of your device and play completely offline. You don't need space, card or chips, just your phone and at least one more friend willing to play you.

A light, minimalistic poker app that gives you the "feel" of playing poker thanks to the "swipe up to reveal cards" function. Nothing fancy, no pay to play, just nitty gritty Texas hold em with friends on your WiFi. 5/5 in my opinion.

The app crashes after the end of the very first hand; after the "muck it" phase. Using Nexus 6P. Edit: It crashes as the hand is ending. I don't need to press the muck button at all.

Need to fix Galaxy S7 issue. Me and my friend both have Galaxy S7s when he enables his mobile hotspot and I connect to him I can create a table but he can't get past the "enable WiFi or mobile hotspot" screen so we can't play and it's the same if I do it (vice versa) however we can connect to his brother that has a galaxy s5. Very annoying conundrum. Besides the connectivity issues it's a great app!

It's a great app,I was looking for an app like this,I think it will get even better if you include the feature of centre table viewer mode to show the board cards on the host device. For example it can be used in the middle of a table in order to make a digital poker table. And I would like to have some more authority over the players as the host device(administaror) to limit their access to some changes such as closing the the table and so forth.. Congrats for your good job!

Very quick to get setup, easy to play and so far, pretty much bullet proof. The ability to go over your hand history is nice. It would be nice to have the option to play over the internet just as easily with the same interface -- but I suppose then it would't be called WiFi Poker Room ... Anyway, great job.

I've not properly played it yet but how does the randomness of card shuffling work? the dealer could shuffle the cards by squiggling his fingers across the screen therefore adding human conciousness/freewill for truly random numbers.

This app is very good compared to some other apps i have tried, hence i bought the paid version also. However I wanted to request 2 important features which will make the app better. First being the auto-dealing of cards. Pressing deal button every time is very irritating. Secondly, I know this app is for playing on the same wifi, but will it be possible to play with friends using internet. Any such thing on the roadmap?
