Sudoku Master

It does what it claims to. It's not bad and if you want a simple Sudoku version, this is it. Although I find it's lacking features. Auto-fill option (fill boxes with all possible numerical options) would be nice. Highlighting all associated numbers including ones in square would add more visual aid. It's good app nevertheless if you're just looking for classic Sudoku.

The background is a little too close in color to the numbers (no contrast), and the numbers to select at the bottom of the puzzle are VERY close to the banner ad, so it too easy (at first) to accidentally open up ads. Overall, it's one of the best ad supported games of any type!!!!

Very enjoyable. It wouldn't update so I uninstalled it to re-install the newer version but it doesn't want to know about it: it says "insufficient storage" when that's not the case. Please, fix this bug. EDIT: working now. The best sudoku game for Android.

Game has good features like highlighting, showing conflicts, giving hints, allowing notes. Features and sounds can be turned on and off in options. Only complaint is that the game uses a lot of resources for its level of simplicity so battery life is noticeable shorter. Fun game and we'll designed. Ive played for a year now and have experienced No gliches or crashes.

Spinning graphics are annoying. The numbers at the bottom disappear until the one you placed is done spinning. Sometimes I'm ready for a laid back puzzle, other times I want to go fast. Not possible with this.

Great sudoku game! Simple to learn and play, hard to master. This version has harder puzzles available for those of us bored with the regular puzzles. Easy to use controls. Easy to see graphics. No fancy extras to get in the way. Just great sudoku.

This games ads kicks you out of current game to the main menu and forces you to start over. And it will do it multiple times. As if to say, "you've done enough of that, here look at this, no I mean it, look at this crappy ad, you didn't look long enough, you want to play your game? We don't care, look at this ad, what about this one. Could we interest you in downloading..... This, OK OK play your game.... SUCKA! If it weren't for the constant annoyance I'd give it 5 stars

This is the best Sudoku app I've found. It performs admirably unless you have made a mistake. When you highlight a number that has been confirmed it also highlights all of the other same numbers so you can see all the sevens at once. It has an easy system for marking suggestions, and when you confirm a number it adjusts all the suggestions to account for that new number. The undo feature works but I can't figure out the hints feature, so just don't make any mistakes. Recommended.

Fun. Wide range from east to very hard which is nice that it progresses as you get better. Played it for 2 years and it is still challenging. 1 of only 3 games left on my phone. Only annoying thing is that often my settings get reset and I have to go back and turn off the sound.... again.

I absolutely love this game. There's only one thing I want to make it better. When you click a number in the puzzle, it highlights all the other ones already the. However, it would be so helpful if it highlighted that number that's you've written in the notes. That way it's easier to find the ones you need to place.

12/12/13 Nice game to keep you thinking. Only problem I've had is the game resetting itself... 12/13/13 Game stopped after finishing it 4 times now within a shorter period of time. Took another star away. 12/16/13 Seems like the game stopping on me stills occurs but my stats are retained so you get 4 stars again. 4/1/14 -Still constantly resets itself.

This is my favorite of all the free sudoku apps that I've tried. I have this one downloaded on two phones and two tablets. Every now and then I'll download and try a few new ones, but they always end up getting deleted for this one.

I've played many sudoku apps and this one feels smoother and easy to get use to. I like how it doesn't tell me I made a mistake before I get a chance to correct it myself like some others do. My only problem is I lose my stats when i change phones. I was proud of those stats.

You will regularly need to re-set your preferences under options (e.g., music, sounds) and go through the intro slides - lately has happened every time I open the app! Otherwise great.

I've tried two other top of the shelf sudoku games for android and one for PC, they aren't even close to the Graphical Interface simplicity. Can't get any more human unless they figure out how to utilise the pen instead of touch

This game LOOKS amazing, but alas... Even at medium level, in a number of puzzles, there is no proper way to eliminate oprions. The player is then forced to GUESS. That indicates poor construction. Obviously the rules for generating puzzles could use some more work.

Havent caught it playing the same puzzle twice. Only downside is it reverts back too default settings on it own now and then- like music on/off and game style. When this happens you also have to then go through the instructions again before you can play.

Started playing the game and really liked it until it started having board issues. I have had 2-3 boards lately that are not solveable. The only logical place to put a number causes conflict. Unfortunately I over tapped the solutions button so I was unable to see what was supposed to go in a specific spot.

This is the most player-friendly version I have come across. But all of a sudden there are changes to the font, color, and some of the layout. In the free version, at least, you cannot change any to these.

I love this game. I think the set up is great, it's kind of hard to mess up on Sudoku though. That graphics I think could be better, but I'm not really basing my experience on that. The main issue I have with this app, is the fact that it crashes, particularly when I try to resume a game. It could be because of the phone that I have, but my game is always updated. However, it doesn't always crash, but it's frustrating when it does. Great game though, I love playing it.

When you mess up on something and you don't realize until later and there is no button to check what is wrong, it becomes a problem. Would give 5 stars if you had something to let me check my answers!! Please fix!

Because if I don't have time to finish it, no matter how long I don't play it , I can still resume my same game I started on. And I don't have to start over a new game

Sudoku on a touch screen feels responsive, no fidgeting with odd controls. My only complaint is the ads can get extremely irritating. But it's still worth it because it's the best sudoku app I have tried.

First, it looks better than the other apps. I guess I like being babied because I'd it to tell me if I misplaced it and the audio is not the special. The light up features is great though

Nothing here Impossible problems set up, where the only possible move is illegal. No good to me. (Update) Earlier comment over a week ago, no response at all. Now you know.

A suggestion: When a number is selected it jumps to the position but there is a time lag in between when the number is available again for entry. If the number were available for entry as soon as it is entered into a location, it'd increase game speed.

I have had this for a while now. Would've rated this 5 stars if not for the lack of customization. I normally don't care too much about customizing my games, but this one is different. I can play this for a long time and I have been staring at the same brown background. Even an update giving it a new look.....something? All that aside, I play this everyday and love the ease of navigation. Perfect for my daily Sudoku fix!

Very cool app. I love the graphics. One problem is easy is not that easy. Also it would be better if the number would change when you input another number. That way you don't have to waste time deleting the number first.

Love the game, but randomly the options re-set itself (I keep all the sound effects off and they'll turn themselves on)

Easy to play, but not necessarily an easy game. Best layout I've used to date.

No way to change what I find to be a annoying, busy, fussy font. The visual experience is overdone. If you like clean, minimalist interfaces, don't bother with this. Equally important, the interface requires that you first select a box, and then a digit. It should allow the option of selecting a digit, which can then be repetitively entered by tapping boxes. Lastly, the interface does not indicate how many entries for each digit remain, which is a highly useful bit of information.

I have this on both my HTC phone and my tablet. I love that it doesn't count accidental moves against you, which other games do. It's simple, as if playing it on paper but has more features than paper and pen offer. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is there seems to be one small glitch but this only happens on my phone. Sometimes when I turn the game on it'll delete my previous game and turn the volume and music back on. It's only a problem because I play this when nursing sleeping babies.

The game acts as if you just installed it every time I open it (shows tutorial and asks you to rate it after first game played) since last update, still love playing it

To be rated for world score board, should take away the option to resume halted game. Totally ridiculous to finish games like expert level within half a minute or so for those top100s on world rating score board. Too obvious their games were not solved straight forward. For those who intend to find out how good you are on global stage, this app definitely no different from other sudoku apps - utterly unreliable world references. Other than that, this app is perfectly construct.
