An epic, story-driven arcade-adventure across the Solar System, Mars Defender is set in the 2130s, at a time when humankind is making its first tentative steps into colonization of other planets.
As a pilot of Mars Defense, you will fly the best spacecraft of the 22nd century as you defend the Inner System from attack and then engage the enemy to the Asteroid Belt and beyond.
Mars Defender provides a retro-styled overhead 3D view, in the style of classic Asteroids games. It features beautifully modelled planets, moons, asteroids, space stations and 12 different spaceships, all in full 3D.

I'm using an android phone. The space on the left, where ads pop up, duplicates the right side of the screen. I didn't play past that, which means I'll never see what might have warranted a higher rating.

Once you get used to the controls it really has a lot of freedom of movement.. nice. But the controls do take a little getting used to.

Good game - but by what measure is an RPG? It's a vector-based shoot-em-up, and a fun one at that. But just tacking "RPG" onto the title doesn't make it one.

Complex multitouch isn't great with this game. The game has difficulty registering set joystick commands. Unplayable I'm afraid. :(

Fun concept and its nice and smooth but the controls are tricky ship should rotate rather than go in direction pressed but that's my pref will buy full game if this happens and I hope it does.

Looks good plays good but mission based rather then explore space yourself if there was a RPG version it would be epic but thanks a solid free game that works on my HTC desire s fine only ads in game bring it down to four

I like the game but, due to size of app in memory would be better if it was capable of App2SD. as it isn't then after playing it i've unfortunately had to delete it in order to free up internal memory

I want to give a 5 * but keep getting the right hand side of my screen overlaid on the left which makes the difficult to read sometimes. Apart from that great fun so far. If there were a guarantee that these bugs were fixed then I would be giving a 5
