About Kakuro Cross Sums
Kakuro, also known as Cross Sums, is a logic puzzle played on a grid of filled and barred cells, called "black" and "white" respectively.
Black cells contain a diagonal slash and numbers on bottom or right side. Goal is to place one digit from 1 to 9 in each empty box so that the sum of the digits in each set of consecutive white boxes(horizontal or vertical) is the number appearing to the left of a set or above the set. No number may appear more than once in any consecutive boxes.
Kakuro mixes approaches of Crosswords and Sudoku. Fans of these Japanese logic puzzles will enjoy Kakuro Cross Sums. An Unlimited number of puzzles can be generated of different sizes from 6x6 for beginners to 16x16 for best players. With autosave game feature, you can solve a Kakuro in several hours and days.
Rules of Kakuro are quite simple but solve a puzzle can be very hard and challenge your brain. To help you in this resolution and improve your game experience, Kakuro Cross Sums offers you some helpers to :
* Touch a clue cell and an helper dialog will open displaying sums that are possible for the number to find and the number of cells to fill.
* Highlight constraints row vertically and horizontally when you touch an empty cell.
* Highlight repeated digits in a constrained row vertically or horizontally.
* Dynamic clues to update the values of clues when you enter digit in a number of row horizontally or vertically.
With its Material Design UI, Kakuro has a smooth and clean interface that will let you enjoy playing. You can also profit of the possibility to mark some notes on cells by touching several keys for a selected cell.
Kakuro lets you to compare your scores with all other players around the World thanks to Google Play Games integration. A lot of achievements are also available and can be unlock by playing to Kakuro. A General Score Leaderboard will let to determinate the better player to Kakuro.

did you guys just like, give up halfway through making the app? nothing makes any sense ?? the buttons are too small to use and there's no way to change them, there's no way to reset the puzzle or see if your answers are right or wrong. just, what?

It is very clear that these puzzles are built algorithmically. I had a single box with the number 8 next to it floating next to the puzzle. UI feels minimalistic, but polished. The rest needs a lot of work. Will increase the rating if the puzzle quality increases to match the competitors apps

Has best entry system (no stupid toggling between notes and answer mode). BUT it is a moot point because real kakuro don't ever have single-digit answers. These puzzles seem to have been randomly generated with no editing, and I'm pretty sure not all solutions are unique. Shame, because the interface is really good.

A Karo puzzle must have only one solution. The first game I played had squares where I could use either of 2 numbers. I'm uninstalling now

Good try, but this isn't really a logic puzzle because each puzzle has multiple solutions -- that means you aren't using logic to find the one correct answer, but instead just randomly trying different numbers to see if they work. Also the generated puzzles aren't like a classic kakuro grid -- everything should be contiguous, but here you get disconnected pieces. I suggest the developer (to his credit, he seems to genuinely care about improving the app) look up professionally constructed puzzles as examples

Games often have isolated numbers and sections which don't connect to each other. On top of this, I gave a correct solution and the app rejected it. Wouldn't tell me what was wrong but clearly it didn't agree with the one solution it had been given for a problem with multiple solutions. Find a proper kakuro app
