Fieldrunners 2

The BEST tower defense game I've played (& I've literally played hundreds & have ludicrously high standards). If you like tower defense, get Fieldrunners 2. Ignore the people that say you have to spend money to win; I have unlocked everything without IAP (In-App Purchases). Incredible hand-drawn graphics. A ton of unlockable towers. Funny and entertaining. Gorgeous World Map. Huge variety of levels. The only negative is that Subatomic caved into the pressure and added IAP. EDIT: Many years later, this is still (in my opinion) the gold standard of tower defense games.

Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled it a couple of times and it now works. If anyone else has this problem please try that fix. Original: When app is first opened, it force closes on my v20. Worked fine on my Samsung s7 and my tab s2. Hopefully this gets addressed, if not then it was a waste of a purchase. Game is awesome if youve never played it though, as long as youre into tower defense or rpg games.

So. This game is good, but it doesn't work half the time. I just get stuck in the load screen and can't play the game. I would love to enjoy this game, but I can't play it. Would love to see devs at least reply to my review. I will absolutely fine a five star review once the game is playable.

This app gets stuck at nearly every loading screen and I have to restart it constantly. Often times, the loading screen never goes away after waiting 10 minutes and performing an app restart and re-download. I will be contacting Google and Subatomic for a refund because this app is not playable on the latest smartphone devices, even though the description says it is.

This game has not worked on recent versions of Android and continues not to work to this day. The initial loading screen never ends, haven't been able to play this game for a very long time, total lack of support by the company is sad, cash grab and run

A satisfying slog thru lotsa difficulty levels with lotsa tower types for players who won't buy but earn their upgrades & enjoy the thrill of finally solving the problem posed by each terrain. If u like TD, you gonna luv this game!

I played the first one and loved it!! That''s why, i decided to buy this one.. but after playing i feel i have to spend alot more money to get through alot of the stages, some are just unresonable for me to win without paying more! Disappointed =(

I loved the first game i played when that was out and purchased this one, now it wont even get past the loading screen. I've emailed them about the issue and no response. I just want a refund now.

I have downloaded this game about once every year since it came out. Absolutely love it. Great graphics. A huge amount of towers. Many different levels to play and play them how you want too. You cant go wrong. Only wish they came out with a 3rd instalment. Im dieing over here.

I love this game and had it on my iPhone and just made the switch to Android. At first I had trouble downloading it and would get an error message. After a few attempts it finally downloaded by now the problem is that it stays stuck on the loading screen most of the time. I have tried uninstalling and downloading it again but it still stays stuck on the loading screen. l think it has only worked two or three times. It also doesn't save game progress.

I made a purchase for Fieldrunners 2 for 2000 in game gold and I changed my phone and now once I reinstall the app I had to start from the beginning.  Can you restore my purchase and give me my paid in game item (2000 coins)?

The game starts out well enough, but just when things get going it always crashes. I tried restarting, shutting other apps off and even uninstalling them, but it keeps happening. Frustrating. Can I get my money back?

I loved this game until the last freaking level. Its basically impossible to beat without items. Every other level is possible to beat with full hearts left, but nooooo, not the last one. So frusterating. Went from me loving the game to wanting to smash my phone into pieces out of anger and frustration. Not a true tower defense. Do yourself a favor and get kingdom rush series games instead.

Give me some way to turn off the notifications. I don't want them, and I don't do Facebook, so stop spamming me. The original game is far superior for not being annoying, and for no in-app purchases.

This game is addictive and fun to play. However, ever since my Galaxy Note 4 updated it won't go past the initial loading screen. I've uninstalled it and re downloaded it but still having the same issue. Really frustrating because I like the game alot.

I'm required to spend more to win. Or maybe my strategy is off... How can I know the difference? Go buy jelly defence like I did, then you will at least know you suck at tower defence as their is no pay to win options.

Good game but make sure you have time to play. By the time it loads I don't even want to play anymore. Tends to freeze between levels .Moto x play

Excellent game. Has been very entertaining until recently it stops on the loading screen and will not open. Am Leary of re downloading as I have spent some money into this app and fear losing all I've gained.

On my z3c it often just drops to towers as I'm dragging them, often times in the wrong place.... The developers have clearly given up on this poor game. Give it a miss

The game is great if it actually worked. Unfortunately the developers have abandoned it like they did their last game due to the fact they are releasing a new game. Completely disappointing when it's an app you pay for. Stay away as it won't even load the game upon launch

Good game but I have a problem with one thing: how come Casual is so hard? It's literally impossible to finish ' The Frying Pan' what's the point of having difficulty levels?

Overall a great game, but the rounds can take long periods of time. They can be sped up but still take a while.

I love the concept of this game but the back end support is grap. It's clearly a money grab and that's a damn shame. Now the game won't leave the load screen.

Who ever designed "be mine", I hate you for real. That anal retentive sit is gay. One little miss-touch of the screen and you have to do it over and over and over again. I get the dam idea, but the game is not fun anymore. I just want the the freak in stars. I personally like the boards with a set path best.

Very good game but when trying to place turrets it often drops them in random places on the map. Very annoying when you're half way through a carefully planned level.

Bought this on my old phone, paid for coins and bought in-game items, upgraded to new phone and am unable to use the in-game items I bought. Wrote customer support... No response

Paid full for the game and yet the difficulty is tough so the developer lure you into paying more via in app!! (Which I'm not stupid to do that) Pathetic and so corruptly greedy.

Love the game. 1st one I've paid for (usually stick to free) VERY glitchy. Constant trouble booting. Never had this much trouble with a fee game. Would expect better from a paid.

Paid good money for the game but the in ap purchases are seemingly essential. I know that our federal consumer commission here in Australia is looking at stopping this but it looks like I fell for it this time. Would like a refund please.

I keep getting my game closed whenever I'm playing it, and it's a shame because it is such a good game to play. Unfortunately it is filled with game crashing bugs.

Money spent on the IAPs is a 1- time thing, the purchases aren't stored on your account. Switch phones or do a factory reset and all the money you gave the developers is gone.Especially frustrating is total lack of response from the developer about ANY issue; once they have your money you don't matter to them anymore.

Before downloading make sure that you don't have anything important to do with your life because once you play there is no way out of it!

The game is fun n keeps u thinking. If you got ten minutes or n hour to kill Fieldrunners2 will definitely occupy your time!!!

Doesn't seem to be any way to play the original version of Fieldrunners or any sort of sandbox mode. Doesn't make the inn app purchases worth jack. Also the game is pretty easy.

Wont even open. A similar thing happens with fieldrunners HD. Please fix this as fieldrunners is the only TD i really like. Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Great looking game, runs smooth on my note 5. Great gameplay. Micro transactions can be annoying but you don't need them to actually play. Worth the 2$ for this one
