reversi SP lightは、普通のリバーシゲームとは異なり、スコア制を採用しています。そのため普通のリバーシとは異なる戦略を求められるほか、単に勝つだけではなくハイスコアを追求する遊び方も可能です。
スコアは相手の石を返した個数と、最終的に持っている石の個数から計算されます。一度に多くの石を返すとスコアにボーナスが加算され、より多くのスコアを稼ぐことができます。
ノーマルモードは、最終的により多くのスコアを獲得したほうが勝ちとなります。
バトルモードは、自分の獲得したポイントと同じポイント分のダメージを相手に与える事ができ、どちらかのポイントが0以下になると、まだ石が置ける状態でもその時点で勝負が決まります。
エンドレスモードは、基本的にバトルモードと同じルールですが、勝つと持っているポイントの半分を次戦に持ち越し、より強いコンピュータと対戦を続けます。対戦はプレイヤーが負けるまで続きます。
人間同士の対戦や、コンピュータとの対戦ができます。また、コンピュータ同士の対戦を見ることができます。
※エンドレスモードは人間対コンピュータのみとなります。
また、対戦が終了した際に結果をツイートすることができます。
コンピュータの強さはレベル1～10までの10段階から選べます。対戦相手や先手・後手の設定はゲーム設定画面で行うことができます。
ハイスコアなどの対戦成績はシステム設定画面から見ることができます。
