Dice Mage 2

The way the game is programmed to constantly give you bad rolls is laughable, maybe don't make it an increased chance to roll a 3 or lower even with a d20 and then maybe the game can be even somewhat enjoyable... obvious scam to get people to pay money. That being said it's still a fun game for those who have insanely good rng or lots of money.

Good concept ruined by greed. Only uses premium currency to nickle and dime players, RNG heavily favours enemies, bosses that can and WILL kill you even if they never win a dice roll. Pacing is severely limited thanks to the aforementioned currency, you need it to do EVERYTHING. Upgrades, buying items, rerolls and you get it painfully slowly unless you buy it. Save your money for an actually balanced game

Having a lot of fun pushing my luck. There does always seem to be a wall you cannot pass every few levels. But you die and come back at it with a new plan. I personally have not experienced the loaded dice that people are talking about.

Not gonna fault the devs with wanting to add subtle programming to tip the odds in the enemy's favor. But rolling straight 1s while the they get 5s seems broken. If it was just chance controlling the dice with proper use of spells and buffs determining whether I win or lose then I might had kept playing.

Enjoyable and fairly simple. Touch controls can be a little fiddly when you're on the map and just want to scroll but the game thinks you're trying to move. Otherwise it's a straight forward boss rush thing. Dying doesn't set back progress much and if you do have to restart you keep your gear.

Good game, but the dice rolls are definitely rigged. I'm sure this is done to "challenge" or frustrate users to make them pay but it does mislead you and is annoying.

I love the game so far, but can you add an option to remove all of the flashing? I'm all for the occasional over-the-top effect, but when it flashes white every half second it makes it hard to look at

I played the 1st one and thought it was great. It didn't feel like you needed to pay to play. This one feels like a pay to play game. You hit a wall of no advancement without paying. On top of the glass ceiling the game doesn't save settings. You have to mute the game every time you open it. In today's world if you can't even program save settings don't program.

All these people complaining about "rigged dice rolls" don't really understand probability or luck games. This is a very fun, probability based, push your luck RPG. If you like the idea of maximizing your chances of winning by making strategic gear choices and dice selections then this is a game for you. If losing several times in a row due to bad luck would infuriate you, I recommend a pass on this one.

Awesome simple game! Just one thing: how do you get rid of the flashing white screens? I feel like I'm gonna go blind

I did some statistical analysis on the dice rolls to see if they were rigged as it seemed, and they are. Your own rolls are normal, but the enemy's rolls are undoubtably maxed at certain points. I don't know why, but sometimes the enemy just starts getting maxed rolls consistently until they get a hit on you. It's not a gamebreaker itself, but for me, what is a gamebreaker is the fact that you are never told that this happens. You assume the dice are random, because they're dice, when in fact they're not. TLDR; the game is 100% not fair, but it can still be fun.

Fun game. Just beat it. It seemingly starts all over just calls it world 9. Does it go on forever ? How many worlds are there?

I would rate this higher except for the bug where you do not gain health from the chests at boss fights when the health drops out. I saw a +112 from a chest and no change in my missing health and my max health didn't increase that much.

it would have been fine as it's own thing but calling it dice mage 2 left me wanting what the first game had. The game itself isn't bad it's just I personally prefferes the gameplay of the first game were it was all luck, not just clicking dice for higher numbers.

Losing to a boss over and over because they cast lighting and vampire every single turn infinitely is a terrible player experience. If I keep finding more like this I will be uninstalling.

Crashes constantly. Also makes no sense that i always roll 1 on a 20 sided die.

It's a very fun time killer, it isn't too easy to where you can beat it without a challenge but it isn't too hard where levels are impossible to beat at points in the game. (5 stars!)

Overall its a great game! I havent had any problems!

the game is just genius it makes me feel happy when I win and most game I play don't do that. I also like how you keep your stuff but you have to restart were you where in battle. I love 8-bit style games a this one has everything I have ever wanted. Though I would like some class's and character customisation?

Ah, the wasted potential. The devs programming of the rolls is far from subtle. Another incredible concept completely ruined by greed.

original review was good because it's accessible. but after world 3 I noticed that the dice rolls are heavily weighted. after seeing 5 sets of double 1s being rolled on a combination of d6s d10s and 2 d20s I decided to do a test. I would re-roll as many times as it took to get the max item reward for a chest. and each time I ran out of gems I would watch an ad to get more gems.... i did this for far too long and once I had finally gotten the item and tallied up the number of rolls I had and the odds per roll of getting the right combination. It was obvious that the dice are weighted. I rolled 26 times on 2 d6s trying to get a number between or including 9-12 this should have been a 26% chance... statistically I should have moved on from here around 5 times before I actually did... and on the last chest which needed an 8 or 9 (which is approx 24% ish) It took 13 rolls.... the other 5 sets of chests took between 1 and 5 rolls which is as expected. abysmally weighted. it's just a slots machine game with more steps.

I like how if you you lose you keep your equipment but lose other things like extra health, it reminds me of an Mmo rpg but that may just be me. This game is great

This game would be an easy 5 and ill change my rating if the gane wasn't so clearly rigged by giving better rolls to the computer. I consistently lose despite have better AND enhanced dice over their rolls.

Incredible game I would never uninstall this it has that image in you head of being a dungeons and dragons player in an amazing 8bit style. Definitely recommend this to everyone and anyone

Deceptive dive rolls, clearly programmed for losses. Every item on screen wants to sell you gems. Shameful departure from the original

I really loved the first one, this one, not so much. Roll tooooo many 1s, and just didn't seem to captivate me the way the first one did. Guess I expected more and new concepts added to the previously great game

Well the game is broke for 1 it turned my phone off at 85% batterie and know the game is frozen on a battle screen with no enemy or mage or anything I restarted the game nothing restarted my phone nothing deleted and reinstall nothing I really like this game it's super fun please fix if you ever see this

Simply amazing no bugs or glitches just perfect fun game ik I'll rage later on Due to bad luck but right now I'm giving it 5 as it deserves.

Keeps freezing up on me , made it level 4, accepted login bonus no close button .start the game all over again get to level four same thing. There's no close button on login bonus screen??

Addictive, fun, simple, utterly infuriating. One of the best RPGs I've found that entirely runs on luck

Fun & simple.. I don't find the dice rigged at all, and is def. not p2w.. would be nice if you got an extra reward for clearing a world tho

The new version looks very good and clean while still keeping that nice old feel of the previous game. Love how it turned out

fun game and great for a good part time to chill and relax, my only problem is that the shop system is a bit bugged, if you buy a health or attack boost then go to a level and win, if u get the same boost as what you boight, ypu lose the buff and it gets replaced, it annoys me to hell as i feel like im wasting time and gems

Yesterday when I played the game it was perfectly fine but today when I got on there were no islands so I can't fight

I like this game this game is very fun you don't necessarily need to have internet connection to play this game so that's a plus in my opinion the only problem I do have about this game is sometime the lowering of dice I know when you rolled eyes is a chance to get high numbers and low numbers but your enemies for some weird reason always get the high number so you have to spend jewels to redo your dice roll to beat them and I think that's kind of unfair to be honest when you first play this game you will get a little confused about it but it's easy to pick up to understand how the dice roll works I like this game overall I think people should try it I don't know if people keep it over a month or even 2 months but definitely worth a try if you have the time once again you don't need internet connection to play this game so that should be a huge Plus because most games on the Google store or even Apple Store you do need internet connection to continue playing at but this game you don't so please try this game out

Great and solid game design. Well use of in-game transactions without hampering the game or design gameplay around it. Engaging and enjoyable to the core. Well done.
