Cyber Knights is a turn-based tactical RPG in which you control a squad of runners and soldiers who are completing illegal contracts for the various powers that fight for control over the cities. A global arms race has begun between the remaining megacorporations. Technological domination and control of the remaining metroplex are the only things that matter now.

In this cold war conflict the soldiers are called Cyber Knights. Elite urban mercenaries they are expendable, deniable and effective. The megacorporations need them to do the dirty work in the grey shadows of the metroplex.

This is a great game to have if you love the cyberpunk genre and games like Deus Ex and Shadowrun. Unfortunately, I have to rewrite my review since there are some issues in the game that need to be addressed. I can't seem to ride the water taxi or get certain items since the option to select it is missing and it freezes the screen.

(Original from early 2013ish) Been playing for well over a year here and there, and I'm still hooked. Just look at what everyone is saying about this game. You NEED to play this, NOW! Update 07MAY15, still awesome, best game I've bought out of hundreds on google play. This will entertain you endlessly if you let it. The Trese brothers continue to update this game and impress me everytime. Anything by them is a safe buy. Keep it up guys. 19DEC16 update Still a good game to play through again.

A nice game. I enjoyed it. Seems unfinished. I wish there had been more story lines to play thru. Once you finish the tutorial story line you have only "sandbox" play with no story lines to encourage or direct you. Sandbox play becomes very routine very quickly. With no story arch to provide motivation it soon felt pointless to carry on. Rumor has it there will be a sequel, to which I look forward in the hope they take the best from this one and make it better.

I need the ability to save characters and transfer them over to my other devices. Other than that, it's a great game and a good way to pass the time. Made, Not Born is a good tutorial and storyline. There needs to be more options to bring in other storylines. Perhaps they could open it up to outside developers?

This is the closest thing I have found on Android and it is pretty darn close! They keep the open post apocalyptic world like Fallout series that made it so popular. Its closer to Fallout 1 and 2 which I think 2 is the best of the whole series. That game still has stayed on my computer since it came out! Bravo guys in making this.

Constant updates and fixes, with constantly evolving content. The tutorial is friendly for newbies and trusts the player to be intelligent enough when to stop spoon feeding information. Then once the tutorial area ends you feel badass enough to take on a few tough missions... until a killer hund takes you down. The climb to the top is hard but the game design and the writing makes you want to be smarter and try harder. Great value for the quality and the quality of the content. EDIT: Played on the tablet and the menus aren't scaled for the screen real estate. It's still a great game (if you can stomach the weird UI if you're playing on a tablet). It's not as or as taken care of as the Star Trader series but this is still among the top 10 or 20 mobile games you will ever play. EVER.

Great game, but they need to make a sequel with all the choices of a true shadow runner. You know, meta human, gender, more job types (where is my adept?) To make it truly good experience it will only take a lot more work on the little details like that. What u have so far is great, but even this game is old AF now, we need a sequel.

This game is one of the best Strategy RPGs I've ever played. Never have I been lost in such a simple Gameplay cycle since I played Gladius on the Game Cube.

Great game, really feels like shadowrun. I only wish there were unique checkpoint missions that feel unique as you can. A factions trust.

W70%

The only issue is the matrix controls. Getting an understanding of where to go and what is happening is unclear. This said the game is heavily addictive and really amazing

E70%
by E####:

My only qualm about this game is that on the menu screen, before you start playing, the name of the person who did the artwork and design is covered by the 'play more games' button.

M70%
by M####:

Really good game, bit quite the grind. Killing a mob of gangsters gives as much exp as delivering a cheap message early game

M70%
by M####:

Great game, but it'll be interesting to see how long the developers can get away with blatant copyright infringement and IP theft - eg AzTek from Shadowrun.

M70%

This game is like crack. Sandbox bladerunner. I wish they had AAA budget, then they could have made an amazing game.

L70%

Pretty fun, makes me wanna dig out my genesis and play shadowrun. The sandbox aspect is okay, the story can be kind of tough to follow though after getting to the NBZ

M70%

I would give it 5 stars but when I purchased the hunder pack it doesn't load it wants me to buy it again when I do it says that I already have it if you could fix this issue I will give it 5 across the board

NEEDS A FIX ASAP. The addition of the new character broke certain aspects of the game.

It's like a poor man's shadowrun on mobile... The gameplay is solid, even if the graphics leave something to be desired

First off great game, an early Trese effort and it shows in some of the mechanics, but considering that its open world and not story driven, its a very interesting piece. Secondly, a couple issues that I've had since picking this up again after a couple years away: 1) Having some issues at Riccos Boat Serve - after selecting dialogue to get transport his dialogue box shows up but no options to continue or back out. 2) Less concerning (don't have to reset), but still annoying and more frequent (don't use the boats much once I have enough taxi drivers), is that when I select missions from connectors sometimes I get a Cyber Knights Stopped Working error message and I'm kicked out of the mission list. I can go back in and select a mission fine - from a new/updated list of missions. 3) A tweak I'd be interested in is it would be nice if reputation wasn't lost so quickly by time passing. If reputation gains were lowered a bit per quest and/or there were bigger penalties for working against a faction that would be fine, but it's annoying to me that simply resting and shopping or bar schmoozing or wandering a bit can drop you by 2-3 missions worth of rep like nothing. It makes me feel like I have to scramble like a mad rat, always working against the clock, to build rep - rather than more simply being consistent and faithful with one group to climb their ladder. It could take the same or more time/missions without the current extreme of a two-steps-forward-one step-back, grind-against-the-clock mechanic. Also it would be easier to keep rep up with two different factions, as long as you didn't actively work against your friends and did some big jobs for them from time to time.

Holds as a true testament to old school RPGs... with a focus on story over graphic has unleashed a beast with a HUGE map & tons of stuff to keep you hooked for hours of gameplay. Truly reminds me of the old Shadowrun game for the SNES.. Even down to the lingo used by characters.. Cyberpunk rules!!!

The comments and the higher ratings just keep getting bigger ... And Yes... this game is very addicted.. more addictive than crack... I've been playing this game for to long and I couldn't stop playing it... it's hard to step away from a game like this one... Cyber Knights deserve a video game of year awards it really does...Man we need a Cyber Knights 2.. make a CK2..if you can..DAMN man if you make it a pay game..I would not have a problem buying it...

This game is a great immersive cyberpunk type RPG, but a few notable flaws prevent me from giving 5*. I originally played the free version, but paid for this to unlock the extra content/ characters. When I tried to play the char I wanted I was told I'd have to pay more money! App devs deserve to get paid but don't be greedy! Also pop up ad for other Corey Trese games. Fine in a free version, but unacceptable in a paid one. And finally hacking system is broken. Other than that it's great!

I love this game to death but these developers show more attention other games than this one. Ive been waiting on the drone class for years but we barely get updates. Please help support this great game so we can get new content!

Y70%
by Y####:

The game builds to an exciting, atmospheric and often tense experience that sucks you into it's world of espionage, clandestine operations, system hacking and back-alley gun fights. The experience opens up into a world of opportunity, where balancing the respect of the citizens, gangs and law is as satisfying and deep as anything seen since Fallout 2. Whether hacking, fighting or simply delivering information from one map to another, after an unreal 250+ updates, there's simply nothing else like it!

This is a well designed game that flows well throughout the whole game. I had heard that the Trese brothers were going to include a Drone Master char that uses Drones like the hunder uses hunds. After several years I'm still waiting and hoping for it.
