Black Blue

The game is good, the only problem is that the AI seems to have a massive advantage in this. Im currently stuck on a level, in which the AI is seemingly actively blocking my moves so that I cannot win. I understand the concept but it makes some of the levels unwinnable until the AI either makes a wrong move or simply lets you win. When I do finally win, instead of satisfaction, I ask, "well why didnt that work the first time??"

One of my absolute favorite apps yet (2nd only to Reddit). People complain about the AI "cheating" but I have yet to find that. My only problem is after so long they make you pay for the levels. I understand they have to make money, but I'd rather have ads

Great concept, great for 2 player. But the single player mode is useless, the AI is dumb. It plays random and the AI starts, you CAN'T lose if you understand how it works. I played until I was bored to win every game.

Engaging, minimalist yet challenging, AI is just at the right pace. Played the first two packages and was happy to pay for the third, a well deserved buck for the developers. Not designed to drag you in forever, not smashing you with ads, an hour or two of engaging gameplay for the price of next to nothing. Hat tip; kudos.

Incredible game! Completed the first two stages which are free, paid a small fee for stage three now I'm waiting anxiously for stage four to be released! Great game, keep up the fantastic work!

bad math. multiple times i have more dots and more area covered yet still gives the ai the win

It definitely needs a tutorial full of info cause sometimes I feel like - what just happened... I should have won. Idk why it hangs on level selection menu.

The game of Go condensed mechanically. It's the same feeling of fighting for space - do I attack directly, or set up my own territory? I could see this being strategically very complex with a few more mechanics.

Sometimes when u place same dots position for 2rounds, the AI always place the same position too. And when u change them it will follow change, so in order to win is try to think more than 2 ways to conquer the line, and u can get the trick to win even some people disgusted by "AI always get the first turn". And of course its tiring to play the far level u get the more u retry the round in order to win twice, thrice, and more.

Game is terrible. The title is black and blue but the color scheme is white and gold.

This game was absolutely great for my mental health, super calming with the music and graphics and the puzzles were hard enough to make me focus. The only downside is the puzzles variety, it'd be cool if it could be more complex and larger, perhaps up to 5 dots, etc. I also saw puzzles repeat themselves a bit.

Level 1-14 had the exact same solution, first one wasn't a win, but when it happened a few tries later it passed me.... I don't understand what a win means..

I really like this game overall, it's so simple but sometimes challenging. Strategy is fun when the computer goes first! I didn't mind paying for Stage 3, but I'm seriously stuck on 3-2, I either tie or lose, and the computer always goes to the same dot. Any advice?? Great game though.

Idiotic. Is simply based on luck. Worst game pf all time

Amazing game, well worth trying. They put the energy most games put into annoying ads and pestering requests to buy the full version into a game worth buying. I'll be buying the full version soon.

Very simplistic while still being interesting. A sometimes the AI made really good moves and then other times it made really bad moves so the levels werent consistent with the difficulty.

I see most people here have given this game bad reviews just because they dont understand the game, I loved it, its simple and challenging but it would really be good to have a little more details in the tutorial level, took me a while to figure out how to play the game

Once I'm introduced to the 2 round win, it's like it doesn't even trigger half the time when I actually win, it's like it has to be perfect to even trigger it

The entire game is heavily in the AI's favor. It always gets first move and the lines change the direction that they move in inbetween rounds to give the AI advantage... Also the game isn't even a game, it's a pay wall disguised as a game forcing you to pay after the second level...would not recommend to anyone

Beautifully aesthetic game with simple controls and a concept I personally haven't seen done this elegantly. Hopefully more levels come with time do I can continue to play this piece of art.

Excellent puzzles, although often a 'symmetrical' shape is not symmetrical - which means you can make the same moves in 2 different rounds, winning one and losing another! That being said, very much worth the £0.59 for the extra levels and I WANT MORE!!

Simplistic, challenging, and very pleasing to look at. I could play this game for hours without getting bored

Great app and I would buy it to support the developers if Google didn't force upon us the permanent storage of our credit card or Paypal and demand authorization(!) to charge us whenever and for whatever they want!... Unbelievable!!!...

No advertisements, the first two packages are free. Can be quite challenging though overall it is an enjoyable game that runs smoothly, even on my four year old tablet.

The game doesn't make any sense. How would I know that the black line would go only one way and not to ways? But then in the next level it goes two ways. It just doesn't make any sense.

Game is based on a good idea but it does not work well. In majority of levels I get more then 50% and sometimes more then 70% and still lose. Please fix.

Not a bad concept, but requiring increasing numbers of wins to progress just feels like the game is padding out time by making me repeat levels instead of giving me new challenges.

Instructions incredibly unclear and lacking in verbosity. Gameplay is okay after you figure out what to do for yourself.

Ok, after some deliberation I've discovered that failing a level makes it appear as if it was successful, no clear indication that you failed, after fixing my mistake and trying again, success is found and it competed (very similarly to the failure) ... Aside from that, the game play is good and the overall feeling is nice, I've updated my rating to match.

You know, Yin and Yang are not about opposites, it is about one cannot exist without the other, like light and dark and day and night.

Confusing, the directions on how to win are very unclear.

I love the game but there isn't enough levels. I beat the first two packs within three hours and I'm in the middle of school... Lol

During the two dot mode, i will fill a ton of the second segment and it wont let me win. Then i fill a tiny amount of the second segment and i win... wtf

The only unintuitive thing about this app is the menu, which is still very simple to get, love the concept and the ad-free policy!

Great puzzle game! Very fun and challenging. We only need more levels, that I hope comes soon!
