Qix Galaxy is a Sci-fi Space Adventure arcade game based on the classic QIX game by TAITO.

Captain Gordon finds himself on the super-modern research spaceship NGC-123 in a galaxy far, far away. He is on a mission with very peaceful goals: mapping the galaxy, looking for Dark Matter. Unfortunately he finds much more than he was looking for...an unknown plasma force that's not only a threat to his ship but to the planets in the galaxy as well.
Nevertheless he continues his mission of mapping the galaxy while avoiding the plasma forces flowing through each planetary system. In doing so, he notices the plasma avoids the regions he's mapped. Something about his propulsion system is immune to these energy forces, these so-called "QIX", and drives them away.
Starborn wander star wars continue...
But the QIX are draining the energy of inhabited planets, who send SOS signals as a last desperate act before time runs out. With no one else in this remote galaxy, Captain Gordon is their last and only hope. But what can one research scientist and his AI companion Aida do against those overwhelming odds?
And the space team moves on across the galaxy. And so does QIX.

Little glitchy with controls sometimes non responsive. However, still fun and plenty of levels which are able to be completely played through without spending money.

I loved Qix in my youth, but controls need work and it can be glitchy from time to time. Like the energy pattern bouncing around killing me even though I haven't moved off the border.

It's a great game, but now that I have lost all the lives I have, I'm not getting them back even 2 days after I lost them, the timer just keeps resetting itself from 20 min to 0 and all over again without restoring any lost lives...please fix it, once you've fixed it, I'll change my rating. Thank you. **Edit: It does restore the lives but I have to stay in the game for them to restore, I can't even be multitasking in other app because I won't get any lives, hope you can change that please, that'd be great.

Loved playing this game in the arcade when I was younger! Gotta get used to new controls and objectives! Old strategies are coming back!
