Oden Cart 2 A Taste of Time

Well-thought concept, well-written intertwined stories, well-drawn illustrations. Graphic transitions were smoother than the first game, isn't overloaded with ads, sounds are well managed and ambience is created almost just like that. Requires 2 days at least for finishing the entire game. Now that I've done it, I miss the characters already. Shows how much attachment this game can put into you. For those who like idle games, I'd recommend it. Unfolding mini-stories have never been this entertaining!

this game gives me a vibe of reading a graphic novel with ancient-Japan feeling. love it! I play this version first before playing the original one. So I was so curious why the cart's owner keep having deja vu seeing some characters. After following the original one I feel, "oooh.. so that's why.." kkkk

I only play for about an hour, but it's already oblivious that the story is not much different than the original one. Don't get me wrong, I adore the first one, but the main strength of this game is the customers stories, and yet it's similar to the first one?? I hope by continue play this I'll see the difference that make the second game more unique and enjoyable experience.

Loved it! Oden Cart 2 is a wonderful sequel to the first one. I think the characters and gripes are even better. A lot of the endings were heartwarming and I frequently re-read them. The illustrations were beautiful too. It's not a hard game to beat. The pacing was very good. If you want to complete the game faster, watching the ads were a nice way to speed up the game.

Love it! Seeing character stories develop is great, and it's fun to look back on subtle clues from earlier gripes that seemed innocent or unrelated. I did notice a crash issue after watching ads a few times though, which may need fixing.

Loved it as much as Oden Cart 1 maybe even more! You really do get attached to the characters and see the plot in this mini game. It's a great little thing to past time and read over. It's very heartwarming story just like it's prequel!

Immense satisfaction! Be warned though, new players. This is a game that takes time. If you had played the first one then I am sure you will enjoy the second one as well. I haven't gone through all the characters yet but I can't wait to see what sort of story I will be getting this time.

I love the first oden Cart, so I instantly grabbed the sequel when I saw it. Still love it, quirky characters and all. A bit miffed that now you're limited to put out only 3 types of oden. There seems to be a bug as well because when I put out a specific oden, other customers whose favourite isn't that oden still appears. It kind of kill the gameplay because you're unable to focus only on certain characters. Please rectify. Otherwise, love it.

The stories are heartwarming as usual. The only thing that bothers me is the pop up advertising. It always contains sexual explicit content and that disgusted me. Please do something with it. I believe that's also will be inappropriate for the others who are still underage.

Pleasant game and nice stories. Never completed the first one as I initially found it too slow. Almost completed with this one though. Wish there were more oden choices I can put out at a time. Or spend my coins on upgrades to perhaps put out more oden choices, or give customers sweeteners to talk more.

I immediately played this after the first Oden Tale and I loved it! It's a nice closure for the first game and definitely worth to play! The only thing kinda irked me is that after customers getting high loyalty they will still appear after we change the menu (and now we can only use 3 piece of oden for menu too) so it's kinda hard when you want to complete certain character first, but it's not that annoying. The story is enjoyable just like the first though I noticed some are too similar with the first game. Nice game! 5/5!

I really love the first game and this one!! The only things I have a problem with is the limited oden, but i guess its to make it a bit more challenging than the first one. I thought that some characters dont have an ending, but they do! You just need to complete the other person's story thats related to them, like the mother in law and the daughter in law. Love this game!!

An amazing sequel to an already wonderful game. I was (and still am) a huge fan of the original, and I must admit, the introductions made me worried about where the plot was heading. The game quickly stopped these worries, and gave me incredible content & hugely emotional stories! The ending... is making me misty. I can only imagine what happens in-unviserse after the credits. Thank you so much for giving us another blessing of a game. I'm going to cry over oden now.

I just love this little games. Limited oden? Acceptable,new little stories,cool,but sadly,there are no final endings like in the first game. That made the whole time worth anything! If you could bring back them endings, I will gladly give 4.5! 5 for good old 8 oden choices!

Very happy they came out with another one, the story is so sweet and it's addicting to find out the stories of all the characters. Something I really liked from the first game was the sound of the bubbling oden and odd street noises. That was also provided in this game but felt much quieter for me so it was hard to increase the volume without being blasted by the music every half minute or so. The music is nice but it would be nice if those background noises were more pronounced. Hope there will be more of these to come!

Amazing game, been waiting for a sequel after i finished the first one. Now it's here! One piece of advice though, the watch advertising for bonuses is fine, but the pop up ones are a little bit annoying. But I guess for a free to play game with no in-app purchases, it's still tolerable.

Charming and intriguing. I enjoyed the first game and this sequel is equally entertaining. You certainly do get attached to characters awhile also trying to unravel mysteries as the gripes progress. Highly recommend!

Love it. But there's a small bug when you read the completed endings. Each time you open one, the sound effects turn back on (I like to keep mine off).

Very good, but not as much as the first one. Many characters are listed as completed despite not having their endings available, and the limitations for oden ingredients are annoying to say the least.

Patience is the name of the game - this is a game that rewards patience with a touching storyline as you follow each customer and learn their backstories. A little slow moving at times but we'll worth it.

Ah, it's been one hell of a ride. I played the first game, so I did install this one with expectations. And, boy, it met them, if not exceeded them. I enjoyed the process of storytelling and, of course, the stories. Thank you for the experience.

When I saw Oden Cart has a sequel, I immediately downloaded the app because I knew I'm in for another lovely ride. True enough, the new game still have the enchanting atmosphere and new, relatable characters that we all loved from the first game. I have yet to finish it but I'm definitely enjoying every second of it! That said, there are surprising ads which just suddenly appear and the new, "watch-this-ad-to-get-free-stuff" mechanic. Both of which I honestly don't have a problem considering the fact that we get to play a great game, free of charge. The ads are not invasive relative to other games and certainly detrimental to the overall gaming experience. Thank you for the team for releasing another game! Although I hope we get to have new game elements like shop customization yielding different effects, option to speak and interacts with our customers, and the possibility to add a map and allow our favorite oden seller to choose which place he would for a particular night. A calendar feature allowing events to transpire on certain dates might be call too! Overall, a must try for story driven game fanatics!

I was so excited seeing this game since I loved the first one, but after a while I realized something was missing. The character endings after completing them are gone, which is quite disappointing since that was what I looked forward to the most in the last game. Please add them back because now I dont even realize when I complete a character.

Great game, but why is the choice of ingredients to be placed on the cart reduced from 6 (1st season) to 3? This greatly slowed the story progress.

I played the Oden Cart 1 and I loved it, so when I saw that there was an Oden Cart 2, I immediately installed it, no hesitations at all. Oden Cart 2 has more characters and interesting stories. I pretty much tried to finish it as fast as I can, seeing as the stories were very engaging and keeps on making one want to know more. I absolutely adore this game!

Beautiful story. It gets a bit tedious, but the stories make me feel so content. Would recommend, especially if you've finished the first one!

If Oden Cart 1 is the easy level, this one's the normal level. I've finished the 1st one in just 3 days and now I was having a hard time to unlock the characters because the menu is limited. But the plot's interesting though. I really love this game. Gagex really made it.

The interval between each bobble which is 3 times longer than the previous game make it quite annoying (from around 8 sec to 27 sec). Still, good game none the less it was an enjoyable ride to the end. One thing, what the use of money anyway? I got 8 million sen at the end of the game and it worth nothing, which is why I dock one star from the gameplay. I say take bonus money off the video bonus or have something extra to buy.

As amazing as the first version! Another touching stories that made this game sooooo much fun and exciting! I love all the stories (and how the doctor, who was a bad person in the first version, was a very kind and loving husband in this version). Love this to bits! Good job!

I'm so happy this came out, I just wish there were more endings to the customers like the first one. I hope there's more games like this to come. I loved it!

A quick open game, hope for new dialogue, restock oden, and close game routine. It's okay but I wanted something a little more dramatic when completing a character's dialogue collection. Perhaps I haven't played long enough and need the two parties involved in the story to be completed before something dramatic happens.

Wonderful! Oden 2 used familiar elements from Oden 1 but mixed them up to give a refreshing yet nostalgic atmosphere! <3 the continuation(s) from Oden 1, had fun guessing once the dem** was mentioned and love every ending including the final conclusion; I like to think that gramps changed history and gave himself a second chance at his own happy ending. For new players (1) pls play Oden 1 first (2) many endings require a pair of characters to reach completion, unlike Oden 1 (3) breadwinner, matriarch and one eye man will keep appearing with high loyalty even if no fav food, can strategize ard this. Devs, can we have records of their parting words; I loved this new touch but didn't screenshot their (esp the sweet old man's) parting words D:

WONDERFUL!! The story was really good and there are times where it struck me in the heart. I love the first one and I love this second one. I wish there were more games like this.

I loved this sequel. The ads made the game progress faster. My favorite character was the female scribe. The ending for the Oden Man had an interesting twist. If you enjoyed the first one, you will enjoy this too.

Fantastic! Oden 2 is better than Oden 1. You saved the endings until the connecting characters finished.. Good job. The endings are actually heartwarming. Good storytellers behind the scenes. Any plans on Oden 3? Hehe.

PLEASE FIX!! I dunno why but it already showed complete for some characters and yet there was no ending to be found! I love this game but I'm kinda confused why the aforementioned problem occured!

Such a compelling story. Every single one of these characters are so interesting that after finding out just a little about them, got want to find out more!

Part 1 was much more interesting than this ..it dosent evn have an ending story...WS expecting a lot more from this aftr playing part 1...stories r very much similar
