Backgammon Ace - Board Games

I have been playing this game well over a year and I loved the old version. I just updated to the new version and saw the new upgrades I think they are cool but there is no way I'm paying that much money that is ridiculous! How about putting out something we as fans of this wonderful game can afford. I'm updating this from August I'm sorry to say I haven't played one game since I payed 7 and it's not worth the price. You really should consider decreased prices. And no banker fee.

Very disappointed. I don't believe Mochy was or is sponsored by this low quality game. Let alone the 6 game limit per day and the useless training bots which can't play against a monkey the servers are very unstable. I get disconnected while having a perfect internet connection. I was literally winning a gammon/backgammon for a quarter of my chips (49k) checking my connection which was always on and got disconnected. And this has happened both while in Denmark and Cyprus. I'm sitting 4meters from my router.

loved this game been playing years. It's my go to game its exciting ,I would give 10 stars but it puts me up for 1400 to 3000 then disconnect on its own & I lose my money.Its happening everyday havent received any help or compensation from company, I am aggravated & disappointed. I played Mochy and won. :D I am a FTP player and my rating is usually over 1600, varying by chance and luck. I once lost all my chips, but daily bonus got me back in for my 6 games. I turned off the APE robots to just play money games with Jacoby. Dice seem fair. Cheaters disconnect me to force me to lose, so only 4 stars. P.S. Do not use automove as the AI is shockingly terrible for your bearoff.

Well thx for fixing it where I can turn off matching up with a bot. But really sucks that you limit us to 6 games a day if we dont pay 4.99 or more monthly. Some of us barrly survive each month and can't afford that but if I am limited to how many games each day I will just have to stop playing. Plz fix the limit of games

I use to like this game until today. Do you really think somebody is going to pay a subscriptions fee for a game that stalls and freezes all the time? Making me lose thousands of points at a time. No thank you I will play all the other free games that don't freeze. Bye. I am updating my rating to minus 1 star. Now that you want to charge for this raggedy game it got worse. While I love the graphics in this game there is no way I want to pay a premium since the connections are so unreliable. Lose games regularly when app disconnects. No problems with all my other apps. Booooo Now it won't connect at all! Glad I didn't go premium!

The app is not bad, the costs are a bit high but ok... If the quality of analysis is good why not. I find the graphics a bit distracting. Too many effects. Why the app wants to be able to access my files and pictures and make telephone calls?

I absolutely love this game, but seeing now that you have to be a premium member that pays *monthly* to play more than 6 games a day I am very upset. I would pay a one time small amount of money to unlock unlimited matches, but the value is not there for their premium membership.

Other then xg & nj, this is the only other app worth playing, imho. Fix the constant freezing and dice that keeps rolling forcing you to exit the game, still an issue since the early versions of this app. Maybe add the ability to export game files for further analyses?

Everybody shouts about the ripoff, and I believe that devs have to earn... I would just want more quizzes from Mochy or other pros! I would also suggest an option to highlight blunders in 'analyze mode' so one could easily find them. I don't mean matches with blunders but just blunder moves. Beside that super game.

Heroz Chess has had pay to play for a long time. Thus, that they switched their backgammon to paying is within what they do. They let you play a certain amount of chess free per day then you must pay or subscribe. I see nothing wrong with that, I simply do not like :(1).No longer being able to bet on live matches...That was fun. (2). Having to go to my page and have it freeze just to look up stats on another player. (3). Being officiated as the loser in the middle of a game or at the very start.

Loved and played the game for a long time. Then a new update comes along that requires me to pay to play more than 6 games in a day. I wouldn't have had a problem with it if the update didn't cause the game to be more problematic than it was in the first place...lost connections when I know my connection was good causing me to loose games. I will be uninstalling this game immediately. So long

They want your money, so if you want to play more than 6 games, you have to pay for a premium membership. 2. You have to pay for chips as well. Yes, they give you a daily bonus...more like every 25 hours, but its not enough to pay the BANKERS FEE. 3. They charge a bankers fee for every game. 4. You can watch videos or complete offers to get chips, but they only allow you to get 100 chips for watching almost 50 videos, and the offers will load viruses on your tablet or phone. 5. You will be matched against people who are experts, and chances are you will lose. 6. The dice are rigged. You will roll 1's and 2's, and your opponent will roll doubles. 7. Its a game for doubling. No strategy, just whoever doubles the most. 8. If you are winning, you will get conveniently disconnected, so you lose. 9. There are many free backgammon games out there that ARE fair. This one is not. 10. Numerous software bugs are known, and they do not fix them, so your daily bonus, or wins, will not post to your account. Bottom line, you pay to play, and for chips. The more you pay, the more you win.

Are you kidding me 6 games a day but if I want to play more I have to pay B.S. they all ready have videos that they get $ from not going to pay for it . I guess I know what app im deleting so I can make room for Pokemom Go

Learnt to play back gammon on this app I really enjoy playing and improving my game but now your only aloud to play 6 games a day unless you pay a membership fee so not happy so only 3* rating thinking about finding and using a different app now we're I can play more games a day instead of measley 6 that this app only allows you.

I used to play those all the time I got your bonus and could play all day as long as I had money now you can only play six games or you have to pay??!! I'm found another app that you can play for free and they even have tourney so I'll play my six games and I'll go to the free app. It's a shame because this is a good app not so much anymore

I've been playing the game for over a year for free except for occasional chip purchases now all of a sudden a monthly subscription starting at $4.99 and up to $14.99!!! Greedy and disrespectful to long time fans/customers. Loved it before, about to uninstall.

I enjoyed this game until they decided they needed to make more money. The lowest premium subscription rate is ridiculous. If you don't pay their exorbitant fees you are limited to 6 games per day. I uninstalled and recommend everyone avoid this game.

Just bought chips now to use them I need to subscribe to have unlimited play. Greedy, money hungry people that have ruined this app even more then the not so random roll of the dice. Sell adds make money the smart way. Your gonna lose a lot of people from your app because no one will buy even a monthly subscription to play. Killed the game I love. By by. This game was great. You could play as many games as you wanted and you could kill a lot of time. Now I find out that they "updated" it so that non-payers can only play 6 games a day?! In-app purchases are a part of apps now, but they should be things that people can get if they feel like it. They should NEVER affect the process of playing the game, which is exactly what these greedy bastards did.

Thought this was unlimited free play? Now you want me to pay to play after so many games. I agree with the other reviewers. May be uninstalling if the premium requirement continues.

Their idea of a match is playing a single game while allowing the use of the cube. The cube should be reserved for game play that allows for the player to participate in more then a single game. Nobody would play backgammon in real life tournaments if game play per opponent were restricted to a single game. Look elsewhere folks if you enjoy playing matches.This site is all about one game deciding a "match" .Ace refers to single game play only. Applying Jacoby is not very relevant in terms of the app only supporting single game matches. Regardless if the cube is applied or not your still restricted to playing a single game against a given opponent.

Guys, you can keep sending users to look at the "The spots of the dice"" but too many games end up with a player having 3,4,5 sets of doubles, which will never happen in the real world... randomize is a tricky area in computer AI, but you guys should work hard to make it real...

This app. Is a total rip off. I used to love this app. Opponents who buy the bigger packages of chips always win. They get double towards the end of the game and they always get the perfect roll to get out of trouble. I use to buy the $1 package of chips and it use to last a long time. Now I lose quite often and takes my money like candy. I cancelled my subscription and everyone out there should do the same unless you like giving your money away.

Get rid of the ridiculous ace points allowing players to cheat and add longer match options. This would be a very cool app after those changes.

I really enjoy this game however there is a new update available through iTunes Store and playing on Android keeps giving me a network error. There is no android update available yet! Very frustrating!!!
