No story or set up, poor graphics which are scaled very badly for phones (might be better on tablet). Levels artificially lengthened by use of waves, a mechanic which has been appreciated by exactly no one ever. Not worth a free download, much less for actual money.

I played this after having purchased, played, and finishing Rico (by the same developer), which is one of the best games there is for Android. So I had high expectations for this one. Unfortunately Jungle Mayhem just doesn't live up to my expectations. The graphics are fine, and the character movement is fine. However, what I don't like and don't understand about the game is why the shots are auto aimed? Seriously? For me, that takes all the fun and challenge out of the game. Instead of being about the skill of actually aiming at your enemies, instead you just run away from them all the while tapping your fire button. After about 10 minutes of this, my shot button thumb was getting tired and I still wasn't seeing anything compelling or challenging about this game. Uninstalled. Sorry developer, I know you have better than this in you :)
