I'd played the original Blox and this is similar, but with added time pressure which completely alters the mechanics of play. It makes the action frantic - blocks are removed from the top of the screen if you're too slow, potentially helping or destroying your strategies. Sometimes that's advantageous, and sometimes it's catastrophic! I've lost a crowned king during play because I panicked and was too slow to move :( All in all, a great puzzle game that makes you think strategically under time pressure. I think my brain is growing a little every time I play! Thumbs up!
