Maquis Board Game

Okay. First of all – tutorial sucks. Second - game hints are just terrible. These green highlights... I thought that I can put agents only on green circles, but no! And this is a key thing, otherwise it is impossible to win! What is the difference between difficulties? Make at least 16 turns for very easy just to get into game. Hints like: do not do action as you insta loose would be just perfect. Lost almost in the very end, because forgot about moral and converted food into -1 moral and money.Hard to play

The game is nice, but the tutorial is pretty unclear. It doesn't explain what information resource does, how patrol placement works (there's a deck, but how do I interpret this?), and the probability of patrol in each location (what does the number mean?) All of which appear to be core to the gameplay, since I can't predict where the patrol might be.

Once I've worked out the knack for placing your guys to block safe routes home, i got hooked. Great little game

The UI can be awkward at times and the game is very difficult (at least, I find it is) but it's a very well designed game, the art is very good and it's perfect for killing time on a train!

Once I watched a couple youtube videos and tracked down the rules for the original print & play version on BoardGameGeek, the game finaly made sense and became really interesting. With some better rules or a tutorial, this would be a very solid game.

I've gone through tutorials, watched youtube video guide and tried it on very Easy and am sure I'm meeting the mission criteria but I keep getting defeated on any mission. Either there's something that needs to be done which is never explained or there's some major bug in the game that prevents u from winning...??

I like the game a lot, however I'm having a difficult time understanding how guard placement works exactly. I wish the game showed you the board game's complete rules so I could understand things better.

It would be cool to have the map change the layout or change the resource placement, BUT the game still has so much replayability. Even with the same 3 mission types in the free version still adds good variety, I just may purchase the full version to get even more out of it! Bravo! Good game!!

Some of the mission logic loops the current mission back to 1. Also, some of the checks for the resistance wins are incorrect.

Can be fun. A bit hard to catch onto the rules, some of the game is luck. Mostly still fun though.

A fun little solitaire digital board game. I like that it is not terribly easy, no one wants a solitaire game they can win every time.

Interesting concept, makes you think but not too hard. The free version is a little short for a demo

I like the graphics. I like the sense of playing a board game. But it is really confusing. It desperately needs a decent tutorial so that you may actually understand what is going on. Also, it seems impossible to beat. This may be a matter of perception though.

Like any quality board game, you need to invest a little work to learn the systems. This game is totally worth the effort.

It cannot be won. Also, documentation is very sparse. Tips in game and a brief YouTube video is it...the rest is trial and error.

I'll never understand why developers put so much effort into the game, and then make it almost impossible to play by not having a tutorial or usable instructions.
