Story
You are a Sheriff, a member of one of the last peacekeeping forces in a slowly dying world. Your weapons are the sword, the gun, and the psychic arts. Someone has burnt your lodge to the ground and killed your fellow Sheriffs. You mean to find out why. But an army of bandits, zombies, and feral creatures stand in your way. You'll need to keep your wits about you if you intend to survive.
What is a Roguelike?
A roguelike is an RPG with permanent death (if you die, you have to start over) and randomly generated levels. Roguelikes are fun because every game is different and they can be played in long or short sessions. Examples include classics such as Angband or NetHack and newer games like Binding of Isaac or Dungeons of Dredmor.
Gravebound also has elements from strategy or tactics/tactical RPGs, particularly the Fire Emblem series. Gravebound was made for fans of roguelikes, tactical RPGs, dungeon crawlers, old school RPGs, board games, and adventure gamebooks. So give it a try!

The exact same thing as the free version, come on developer..the add are annoying but it's not worth 4$ to disable them. Give us second stage maybe 3rd stage,and sound,and music... I didn't even have the chance to try the blunderbuss

I played this on the free version and I love it! It doesn't go past the bug level boss but I had emailed the dev and he said he was working on it. I can't wait and I wanted to buy the paid version to support the game. Can't wait for the update.

Its either really short (maybe an hour and a half playtime) or there is a bug. After killing the boss in the spider cave, a door opens in the wall but when i enter, it freezes then when i tap it goes right back to the menu and game is gone, have to start new game. No ending or anything. Is this a glitch?

Lacks persistence from playthrough to playthrough. So not a great deal of vastly different content un terms of challenge. No sound on note 4. Will test to see if works on note 10.1 later. Assume it is meant to have sound?

Update: Awesome new graphics! Well worth the money and then some. Have spent countless hours crawling these levels and enjoyed every minute of it. Great replayability thanks to random level generation along with tense boss fight

New animation is ugly and I can no longer zoom out. I now hate this game. I had no idea you could change controls and entire look of a game after someone has purchased it. I feel cheated. Also just got on to play again to see if I can tolerate new look and now it won't start. It's black screening me after I hit new game.

I bought this game maybe a week ago, and it's been one of the more entertaining indie games I've found on the market. I do have an issue with it, though. I've run in to a crash problem at the end of the first chapter. Once I beat the insect boss my first time, the game crashed, and I had to start a new game. The second time, the game crashed, and now it won't load at all. My phone is the Samsung Galaxy S4, in case that helps with debugging, can't wait for more updates. :)

Games should either embrace a "retro" style or make it look nice. The game mechanics are pretty good here, but your person skates stiffly around a lawn and bumps into equally frozen monsters.

I bought this game because I wanted something better than the mainstream games like angrybirds and candycrush. This game is hard to get far in and posses some real challenges for people who want some hardcore gaming on the go. It is like the darksouls of phone gaming: you die alot!

Its way to short and its literally the exact same thing as the free version I bought this expecting a fully fledged story and levels you there is nothing once its updated and more content is added maybe some music and sound effects as well I will rate it higher but so far this upsets me it has so much potential and still does because the game play is pretty solid and there is just something about it I love so please try to update this more and give it a more stages and levels. wtf! You haven't updated 4 1yr
