Red Dwarf XI : The Game

If your a fan of the series you'll be in heaven with this game! I hope they make classic episodes like say Legion & Polymorph! Keep up the great work developers team & thanks!

Can't wait for more episodes! a good game! Any chance of classic episodes eg DNA ,polymorph, Pete or canaries based levels would be great! Good work to all involved!

The game is fun and has lots of the plot from the first episode in. However I've bought the game i expect it to be the full game. You've had months to build the levels. When did red dwarf 11 get commissioned? When complete 4 or 5 star. Until then...

Great fun, San absolute steal at £1.99, controls are a little wonky sometimes but nothing dramatic. Roll on Krysis!

Love Red Dwarf, but this game keeps crashing when you are cat for the first time. Right at the end of the level.

The games are more irritating than entertaining. All in all not worth the 99p.

Look of game and other aspects of app are great but gameplay is basic and fairly dire.

Excellent game for fans old and new just needs a kryten mopping minigame

It's the game Red Dwarf has needed since Series I, and the one fans have been waiting for. This 90's PC game feel fits perfectly on Mobile.

Since release there have been a few really helpful bug fixes and tweaks to the controls. However there are still one or two issues. I'd be perfectly willing to correspond with the developer off the reviews to address. Also, though this may not be a solvable issue the release of the episodes is a little agonising.

Once you figure out how to steer Starbug or walk a character through a level or follow simple on screen instructions then the challenge is complete, it stays pretty much the same for each episode. A few puzzles to solve rather than "avoid the bad guys" or "remember some numbers" would be great. The lego games type puzzles would work well with this. UK fan since The End, I want to love this but I don't!

Updated after just now playing episode 3. Most fab! Lots of laughs, fun game play, and great externals. I expect you're disappointed with the amount of downloads put keep up the good work. There's plenty of us smegheads out here looking forward to part 4!

Lacking enough vocals, series sound effects and varied gameplay to keep me interested. Too difficult for my kids to play. Would have preferred a simple point and click in the style of the old 'monkey island' series. Oh well, fun for 10 minutes.

If you want to waste £1 buy a scratch card. I'm honestly gutted I thought this game would be awesome. Clumsy controls, the game play is awful and the story just jumps around. It's a let down to the whole red dwarf brand.

Rd content 3, RD Humour 5, Game play 1, complete in less than 2 hours of train communting. Why do game devs think releasing games that are incomplete. Would you spend a quid for 3 levels and the promise for more to come in the form of dlc? Or £3 with 20 levels and maybe some extra content? Look I've created a business model that tripples you revenue....smegheads.

My rating would be far better if it weren't for the last door on the Give and Take episode with Kryten where you literally cannot get through the door because of the awful controls this game uses and the fact that Kryten is too slow!! The controls in general are awful with every level. Do not buy this game because I certainly regret buying it!

Can't complain when a free game gets unplayable but when you've paid for it, boy does it make you seeth. Some great moments from the tv show and nice touches like voice recordings and humour but looking online you can see you're not the only one who finds certain tasks impossible. I'm stuck on the find the club Level which - despite numerous power ups - still manages to kill you every time you attempt it. The best games encourage you to try again and again. This game sadly encourages despair. Shame.

My decision to purchase and rate 5 stars was based entirely on the dev's responses to users' feedback and requests. I'm not expecting anything better than a 2 or 3 star game after reading a few pages of user reviews, but I'll happily pay for a 3-star game with good dev support and no BS. If my opinion changes after I play it I'll amend my review if necessary, but I won't demand a refund even if I hate the game. You can keep my money simply as a thank-you for being a proper dev who listens to his users.

Simple with good graphics, a few varied levels. Voice over from kryten was a nice touch. More of that would be welcome but definitely needs more of the red dwarf theme and music please!

Please can you tell me how to update for the next episode? It hasn't automatically and I can't find an option to update on Play store?

This is a great game, i have enjoyed playing it. When will there be new levels to play? 2 episodes to play through just isn't enough

I Liked It. Had fun playing it but the only bad thing about it is the lack of episodes. Apart from that a rearly good game

Not had any new episodes in months what's going on I would understand if this game was free but a paid my hard earned cash to play it?????

Ok its 99p but as others have said...clunky controls, repetative gameplay, and no voice clips! Generally a poor game. Also it takes ages for episodes to be released....which is odd considering how similar each level in each episode is. There's no real incentive to replay current levels either. Overall i'll be deleting this to make room on my sd card. Shame

Could you re-releas red dwarf simulents revenge

A fair amount of effort has obviously been put into this game, but at the same time not a lot of thought. The graphics are pretty good, but not amazing, just your basic high res low poly count, and the controls are...usable, but not brilliant. On screen joysticks would have been a much better choice in my opinion, rather than having to have my finger in the middle of the screen, obscuring most of my view. But the one thing I cannot forgive is the oversight on the characters speech. No voice acting? Really? Now that's just lazy. I mean come on, you even use some lines from the actual episodes. Would it really have been that difficult to get the cast in a recording booth for a couple days? And as others have stated the gameplay gets stagnant quickly. There's no challenge. No real puzzles to solve, nothing overly challenging. It's more akin to a red dwarf episode where you have slight control over character movement more than it is a game. No, even for the low cost of £0.99 I still think this is a bit of a joke. It's a disgrace to the Red Dwarf franchise, and quite frankly I think you've just pit the least amount of effort in possible. Poor show. EDIT:- So I've just finished the game in its entirety. Took maybe an hour and a half? Very repetitive gameplay. Not very challenging whatsoever. Definitely not worth the money right now. But who knows, there's another 3 episodes to come, maybe the devs will pull something out of the hat yet.

I love this game. Thanks to everyone who made this excellent game. And thanks for episode two update. Looking at some of the other reviews, I can't understand how some people feel ripped off? It's 99p for smegs sake! Total bargain really.
