This game seems like it has potential, but has a fatal flaw: there is no way for the app to tell that you are actually plugged into the power outlet specified on the app. I can walk up to a target and simply plug in my external battery and interact with the game. It recognizes that your phone is "plugged in" and that's it. It would also be better to have more documentation within the app. I didn't really understand the gear or how to use it.
Anyone who can't figure out the game obviously didn't pay attention to the tutorial. Physically plugging into outlets in order to access generators is a neat game mechanic, and limited beta access is good for quick reporting of issues to the developers.
My friends had a invitation code while i'm not. Can i have an invitation code too? Cause i've played ingress for about a years ago. But this game makes me interest. I want to know and review to my mates so. Thanks
This game is still in beta but with direct contact to the DEV its getting better and will soon be taking off , if you want an invite please be patient!
No support game irresponsive no training in game no clue about what to do or if we should wait for something while server might be down... quite embarrassing for the dev... born dead
The dev has put a lot of code into it, but that's all is there.... It's a "game" that you plug your phone into the wall for a min, collect energy and then leave. You lvl by collecting energy (Farmville?) No plot, or point. Played it over a month. Concept is broken, and there is no balance. All the ingress players chose red Bc guess what's popular, the red Faction. The repeated and unnecessary stress on the charging port of your phone/tablet is enough to stay away from this "arg".
The game seems really cool, but every time I press play it asks for an invitation code. Honestly, I don't even know what that is, but I can't start to actually get involved. It only lets me use the map to check out where other people's operations are. Please help me so I can actually place a fair rating!
The hype train leaving the station. Getting better with every update, this is like ingress with out all the drama and in real life belly ache about factions.
Glad to see an another arg game that at least somewhat playable. It looks ruff and still in beta so it's not the best looking graphics ever. I'm sure devs are working on this. I like the premise of feeling like I'm not constantly tethered to the game. I play at my own pace and don't feel pressured to level or collect items or points. For that alone I like it. For those that are confused please go to the website or their g+ page. Devs are very responsive via Slack.
Но крайне не динамичная. Владельцы Tesla должны оценить.
Solid game, even in beta. Devs are responsive and listen to their user base.
No tutorial, have found online doc's with developer interaction. Who ever made the Ingress comment about the red faction being most popular has never played Ingress! Lmao! Besides this game is nothing like Ingress. I have yet to make up my mind about this game, it seems wildly popular in Asia and a but in UK. You can view other parts of the world through satcom.
Need invite code please
Needs to be some way to redo tutorial. Phone call during initial tutorial, it force closed and now just goes straight into the game. No Idea what to do.
This game is the definition of sit down and farm. Tutorial is terrible. Literally no explanation of what to do with generators or how to level up
Primary objective itself is flawed and buggy.
If you want a fun and original game go play ingress it's almost the same but more fun because they have added a lot of cool things that give it a new play style
I've waited for an invitation, but it seems as though it's either broken or closed. I'll edit my review if/when I ever get to play the game.
Unique gameplay with real world interaction. Some minor growing pains but I am looking forward to what is coming both in the app and the backstory.
This game is still very young, and finding its legs in terms of gameplay features, user base, etc. But I see a promising future with this game concept. It won't be an ingress-killer, but it's absolutely a fun game to play while you're already out killing portals. The dev team has been incredibly responsive to the fans and I expect this game to go from good to great very soon!
Great Game. It is an amazing AR game. No spoofers. Getting an invite was also easy. Amazing
Been excited about this game since I read about it. As a long time Ingress player, it's great to see the ARG genre start to take off.
I'm really excited to see where this game is going.
I'm excited about the potential of this game!
How can i get an invitation ?
Hey kindly provide me a invite please
Excited to see what the future holds for this game. Still very beta, get in while it's still very new! I started playing ingress in beta and it's amazing to watch it develop into a mature game, and can't wait for this one to do the same!
Running for charging ports
Everything is fixed and running nice!
Unable to play keeps saying moc collections altho o turned it off I have also reset my phone to see if it's an app and yet it still complains about moc locations. Help would be grate thanks
I've tried but after creating two generators and going around nothing happens. I cannot interact with the generators. I tried tapping everywhere on the screen: nothing. A tutorial would be much appreciated or a working app. I go back to Ingress
This is not an Ingress clone. It is a different play style entirely. It's a much slower paced game, and not particularly suited for high population areas. Whereas Ingress rewards for destroy and conquer, Ember rewards patience and stealth. Also, the story is much more plausible.
To interact with anything, you have to stand over the generator on your screen and plug in to an outlet within its radius. I have several issues with this. As a game mechanic it's completely defeated by an external battery. In addition to this, you're asking me to cause excessive wear and tear on my usb port, mess with my batterys health AND carry a plug around everywhere i go. The user experience overall is not very friendly. Coming from ingress you'll find this game frustrating
New one of Them AUG GPS esk games. Not sure what is going on. The good thing is it can only get better. **edit** when I've figured it out I'll update.
Ember is a fun game with lots of promise. There may be some mechanics that might seem awkward at first but the devs are active and engaged with the community which will go a long way towards making this game even more challenging and engaging.
Tutorial is basically non existent. You'll lose players from this. Also no way to lock a generator deployment in, gps went wonky as deploying, have a generator in the middle of a busy road as a result.
Cannot interact with generators, did not get a tutorial. Can only claim daily ordnance.
Looking forward to further development, but a promising start!
How i get invitation code ?
