Notifyer+ Unread Count

The instructions are really poor so it is difficult to get it to work. I have done what it said in the instructions (I think) but it still won't work. Sure enough it has created the new icons but the new icons still don't show unread message numbers. I've also found the icons are so big they won't stick to the row of regularly used icons at the bottom of my screen. It really is frustrating & disappointing, especially as I paid for the app. I'll keep trying because in theory it does do what I want it to do, it just seems like a mission impossible to get there. I've just changed my rating to one star because it really is hit'n'miss whether the notifications will show. My calendar app is now showing the number of events today but the email & sms icons just aren't showing anything, even though they are set up in exactly the same way. If this doesn't start working properly within 24 hours I'll be asking for my money back. That's it. I couldn't get it to work so I'm out!!

Recently just a few days ago Outlook won't work with the native counting. If I select combine notifications it works but doubles the count and tells me I have twice as many emails. Any fix here????

Plz fix the resizing to place invisible behind an icon. I have to stretch it over 3 icons to get it to show notifications. Doesn't work well if icon is first or last on the grid.

App is good, but how do I have an icon on the taskbar with a counter? I can't drag an icon there that has the counter in it.

Does not allow icon packs. Do not buy...total waste of money!

Randomly stopped working today. Using this on my Pixel, on the default messenger app, when I get a new text, the icon image is now permanently replaced by the profile pic of the user that texted me, along with whatever number count of unread messages sticking. It used to show the profile pic of the last person who texted along with the unread count, then after I read the messages it would swap back to the default icon and the count would go away - now it stay with whatever the last person was. Right now, it shows my wife and an unread count of 4, but there are no new messages. If she texts me again, it'll show 5...even after I read it!!! It's not clearing itself after reading messages, something goofy is happening.

Works by replacing app icons with widgets. One complaint: the widget icons are not aligned with other icons (they are lower), which doesn't look nice. Another problem: after the recent update Notifier no longer appears in accessibility services, so for some apps when I dismiss the notification in the toolbar the notification badge disappears. Please fix.

Very good, easy to customise. Only problem is the messenger app is saying there is one notification and I can't find it!

Works great on my Pixel phone. I'm not using the Android Messages app though (I use Textra). Love being able to see notification counts on my app icon instead of having to look at the notification bar.

The native count for the messages stopped working. Now every message received gets counted as unread, even if you read the message. This problem was fixed!

Worked for a while, now it says I have messages when I don't. Seems that the new Android Messenger upgrade broke it.

Was working great until about week ago. Once read text etc still showing notification and won't reset. Unless u delete text. Good app part from this recent issue. Google pixel user

When a email arrives to Gmail the gmail icon is now changed to a letter. This matches the icon within gmail that represents the first letter of the person emailing me. How do I turn this off? I do not want the gmail icon changing. Thanks

Purchased to use with Gmail. Discovered that app would only work part of the time. After marking all messages as read it reported zero messages as it should, then when I sent two test messages they too showed. Later though I began to discover that incoming email went unnoticed. Also as the program functions as a widget the icon will lack uniformity with regular icons... smaller.

I like getting contact photo on text icon. One minor issue, if you change the dpi of you device (available on Android N and other methods like Cyanogen) the icon may not display correctly or the badge may be clipped.

I try open with whatsapp, wechat, messenger, instagram, but not show balance unread count on icon. It automatically display on apps icon nothing left unread. When i open apps like whatsapp or messenger or instagram or wechat, the unread msg still available. My facebook nothing display unread count. The email unread count are correct display balance count on icon. Is it problem compatible with android 5.1? Pls share the solution..

Does ok with Android messaging but everything else is spotty at best. Notifications are either ignored or the badge app icon won't go away once notification has been addressed. Hopefully they're working on a fix.

Yes, I read the instructions. Tried with three different email apps. It just doesn't work. Waste of time and money.

This works pretty good. I have had a lot of trouble with the accessibility service being disabled if the app is shut down. Having a rooted phone though, converting it to a system app has solved this.

I installed on oppo phone and it did not allow me to add more than one app. And it does not count correctly for gmail app. My gmail app has multiple email accounts from gmail and hotmail. Opposite phone does not have separate app drawer

Got notifications but when i try to drag the new icon that's generated to the bottom it not allow it to go there. Any help

Tesla Unread sets the bar for what should be shown. If Tesla can do it then hopefully this app improves to their standard.

Can I keep the bubble if I swipe away the message in my notifications? Could it be possible to have widgets on Google now launcher on the dock?

Purchased this app for show unread count with gmail and yahoo. The first time good working but after bad working. Don't show unread count.
