Notify Block

I downloaded this to get rid of the moronic "battery full" notification that refuses to just go away when swiped. I disabled notification for EVERY system app listed and the stupid notification STILL came up repeatedly. If the developer is interested, I took a screenshot of what I am talking about.

Allowed access, but it still isn't working. I need to block android system from making notifications on PAC ROM, privacy guard is annoying tf out of me.

I need to access work on my phone, but want to be able to take a real break sometimes. It has profiles for when you want to be notified of different things but not others, which I think it's great. I have one for work so that personal things don't bother then, and the opposite when I'm not working. A few things though: 1- I think they all do that, but the app is a bit slow to start possibly because of the special accesses to the phone. 2- Sadly it doesn' block all my apps, like Outlook for example. 3- If I'm on my phone, I can still see the notifications pop for a second.

"SongFlip is denied to obtain your current position" along with every other app that's been blocked from obtaining location still shows a constant popup balloon letting me know it can't get access. Notify Block is meant to hide notifications isn't it? So far it's failing big time as notifications from apps are still showing on screen, even after rebooting device. Sad.. I expect to see all messenger/mail/news notifications still but not complaints from applications asking for permission which I block/reject!

This app is really helpful. I'm able to stop notifiications without a problem. But it could use some fixing. The actual checkboxes aren't overly responsive. Tapping on an actual app rather than just the checkbox would make custimization faster and easier. And there's no select/deselect all option.

Does not block Yahoo notifications on my phone. Main reason I downloaded it.

Amazing app! I use it all the time when I'm studying.It helps me focus and forget about my phone.

Couldn't get rid of the low-battery nuisance from system ui, but it's hiding the annoying "headset plugged in" msg from quick settings, so I'm happy. Hats off to the dev for making this work w/out root.

I get swamped with annoying notifications & sometimes I want to shut them off, but the only option is to go into each app in settings & turn them off 1 by - very time consuming. And if you want them off temporarily, then you have to undo each 1 again later. I was considering rooting my phone to get full notification control. But this app saved the day. Per-freakin-fection! And no unnecessary permissions! The profiles are brilliant! With 1 flick, I can turn off all notifs or just my presets for a profile.

Stops those annoying apps from notifying you of nothing useful at all

The s5 has a bug where you cannot disable notifications from the s planner application permanently. This app fixes the problem! Fantastic job dev

Mostly works. Stops the popups in lollipop when screen is unlocked. But. .. when disabling some apps. The sound someone's comes too. The stats can not be cleared. Would also be great if it had a password feature. Says that you can put it on the screen lock but still have to find that out. If these issues are sorted then it's a 5 star app

Cured the 75% memory full warning on my Xperia Z3 with no messing. Great news.

Why is it better then notifications off? Cuz notifications off need root and this app doesn't

Worked great for a day or so, got rid of that annoying 75%full message that sony won't let you turn off!! then I turned my phone off... Not worked since.

Would be even better if you could set up a timer for a profile to come on e.g. work profile for week days.

I just want to sleep that's all I want and this stupid app won't block notifications. Almost asleep then..... ALARM!!!!! BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ!!!!

It doesn't block notification on my galaxy s5, please fix this app looks great. I will edit this review as soon as possible when fixed

I have installed this app but it is not blocking notifications... worse...

Like do you put the checkmark on the apps you want notifications from or the apps that you don't? If it's there I can't find it but where do you go to turn this thing on and off? All I could do was out check marks here and there and create a new profile or whatever but I have no idea how to initiate it. Needs a tutorial or instructions of some sort. One star because I have no idea how this works or if it does at all. I didn't want to chance not getting the notifications I wanted.

Simple to use and blocked the offending storage notification on my Sony z2 within minutes! :)
