About Myo Tasker Plugin
This is a simple plugin for Tasker that allows users to set up hand gestures using Thalmic's Myo armband to trigger Tasker events.
To use, open Tasker and create a new profile with the 'First Context' being an Event. A popup will ask you to select an 'Event Category'. Select Plugin -> Add Myo Gesture.

The concept is the reason I purchased a Myo. However, the app has difficulties resyncing with the armband after slight movement. Just as well, it crashes often when trying to disconnect, or after resyncing. Overall, the app itself works as well as the Myo can soon after being connected, but slight movement of the band (impossible to avoid if wearing for all day) will trick up the app requiring a cumbersome reconnection. Be great if the app could use the more practical band choice screen for connecting.

Cool app dude. Only wish there was no delay between reception time between myo and tablet but that's an issue the app can't really solve. Good work though! Looking forward to future updates and hopefully sixaxis functionality! To people who say it doesn't work...Learn how to use it before complaining.

I was trying to set up some profiles it randomly crashes a lot and then when trying to close it I cant.

It wont detect finger spread right like other apps. I have to have fingers spread then wave in to trigger it.

This plugin is great. UI is beautifully done when in Tasker, and it works reliably. However, connecting to the myo is unintuitive. Tapping the myo device to the phone? Tapping which part where? Pressing the connect button doesn't work either. Hopefully this gets fixed.

finally figured out how to get it to work, but u definitely should specify how to connect the band to ur phone and before do the sync gesture

This app is fun to play with but does constant start/stop ble scans in the background even though the app isn't running. Bluetooth was sucking up to 42% of my n6 battery life.

When connected, this works flawlessly, but as soon as I disconnect and reconnect my Myo, I have to completely wipe Tasker and the plugin and recreate all my triggers to make it work again. As soon as this is fixed, this plugin will be AWESOME.
