Voice Search Disabler

Do you find it frustrating when you accidentally hold the search button and Voice Search interrupts your work? Then this is the app for you.

Once the app is installed long press the search button one last time, remember to check the box next to 'Set as default', then select Voice Search Disabler. After that nothing will happen whenever you long press the search button! Now you can even pick up and hold the phone by the search button.

To re-enable the search button, go to Home, Menu, Settings, Applications, Manage Applications and then choose Voice Search Disabler. From there all you need to do is push the Clear Defaults button at the bottom of the page and your Voice Search will be available once again.
