I'm a Windows Mobile fan who went back to Android because of the (hard to understand) lack of support from apps developers. I find WM light-years ahead from Android. So you can imagine how happy I was when I discovered by chance launchers that mimic Windows Mobile User Interface. I tried a few, but this one is the best. It takes some time to understand how it works and setup (especially if you decide to use transparent tiles), but at the end you get a beautiful home page with great 'live tiles' effects.

I just got a V20 with 64gb int. I can install anything I want without having to uninstall two other apps. That made it difficult to organize icons in an easy to use manner. No longer. This is like the interface on the 950 XL I used for a week. Maybe even better. I think this might be more configurable than the one on Windows phone. Super usability improvement!

This made me love using my android phone! Coming from Windows phone default Android UI seems like a step backwards. This quickly changed my outlook on Android. I cannot thank you enough for creating this. I even took my findings to the r/windowsphone subreddit to share to people on the fence about switching to Android. It was well received. I know it's a longshot but one of the biggest issues I have is searching. App drawer and contacts mostly. Is there anything in the works for being able to click on the letter to bring up a quick menu for searching all letter s of the alphabet? Also can you add gestures for when the app drawer is up? I would love to be able to set a swipe to go back to the main home screen. Thank you for you efforts!

Excellent WP10 launcher, the best out there! Plus has nice options for adding native and developer made widgets. Developer is very responsive and makes frequent updates with little tweaks and additions. If you like the old windows phone ecosystem, give this a try!

Awesome, I switched from android to windows phone for the beautiful UI, and this brought me back, something I'm infinitely grateful for. The dev is pretty awesome and chill, I've asked for the ability to label folders, and the feature is now implemented. After I've discovered a few bugs, they were quickly fixed, and the dev even offered to send me an unpublished fixed version before the update to the main app was pushed. All in all, I'm very happy this exist, and if nothing major happens, I plan on using t

This is definitely one of if not the best launcher available at a reasonable price with tons of features and extended functionality. Incredibly customizable, intuitive, and stable. Elegance in both architecture and design. Double thumbs up, no complaints, just loving it on phone and tablet. On top of all that, this group keeps the updates coming improving performance and adding new refined features. Cudos to this design and development group from all users at chapin studios. Keep up the great work.

Gotta say thank you, thank you, thank you to the dev for this launcher. I kept going back to my Windows Phone purely for the look of the UI, then I'd have to go back to my 6P for the apps. It was a very annoying cycle. Now, thanks to this awesome launcher, I get the looks of a Windows Phone with all the high quality apps of the Google Play Store. Really awesome app. Thanks!

Absolutely amazing launcher. Coming from Windows phone, of 3 years, this app is leaps and bounds ahead of their metro ui. The developer considers suggestions and is awesome. A small tweak to the app drawer, being able to quick scroll, may seem trivial but it makes my experience that much greater. Definitely my #1 launcher.

I like the whole SquareHome Launcher and Theme set, and for a complete experience I baoght th SH key about 2 months ago. But something I don't like about it is the fact that I have to download an app per theme. It's very irritating when I open my task killer and see each one of the app containing theme is Running in the background. Though closing those theme apps with task killer doesn't affect any experience, but It's still not acceptable to me. Developpers should have made those themes an in-app feature which other renowned launchers does. I hope you update this because otherwise I am not going to increase my ratings.

Great launcher. Made the jump from Windows Phone to Android nearly seamless. Great customization options as well. Have been using it for over a month with no problems. My only question is how does one enable the text notification functionality on the tiles? It occasionally works but is largely inconsistent, in my experience. It is personally an important feature, that I may have overlooked how to properly turn on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

This launcher gives you options to format screen in ways others just can not. It is not just a Windows mobile clone it lets you have so many options beyond that in every interface area. It is miles apart from those that try to clone win phone experience as it provides the personalization and androidy goodness such a clone would lack.

O70%
by O####:

This offers a visually pleasing, highly-customisable Windows-style launcher combined with Android OS, effectively the best of both worlds. If the tile concept appeals over alternative formats this is certainly worth a test run. A generous period offered to try the premium version before buying. Highly recommended.

N70%
by N####:

Amazing work, endless customisation and quick. Takes time to set things up and figure out how it all comes together, but after a few tweaks it would be fair to say that I doubt if Microsoft could do so good a job. Live tiles work brilliantly, can be set up in so many ways colours sizes, animation all works together the way it should. Highly recommended.

N70%
by N####:

I always liked the look of the windows os but after owning a Windows phone which I loved but was so disappointed with the selection of apps, so I was absolutely delighted to find this launcher as it gives you the best of both worlds. I have been using it for a while now and can't fault it what so ever.

I was skeptical at first, but I absolutely love it! Great color selections and nearly endless tile arrangements. My phone hasn't looked this good in a long time. Finally, organized! Great job! Deserves a matching locker

N70%
by N####:

A good combination of Windows Phone inspiration that take advantage of Android features. Best of both worlds. With a few more tweaks and more animated tiles/widgets it will be just perfect. Scrolling is a bit jerky but nothing serious. Good job

N70%
by N####:

But decreases battery life. Totally worth it if you ask me. Update! I find the dev is correct. I've looked into power drain and it was certainly not the launcher, except for the awesome animations. Around the same time my cell provider changed my sim and it was the new coverage that was causing the problem. This is the best ui! Thanks developer.

This is exactly what I needed after leaving my windows phone. It is so customizable, you can do even more things with it. It does take a while to set up just right, but I am a person who likes options. They give you trial version that is great, but I only needed a day to realize with amenities this nice, I needed to buy the full version.

L70%
by L####:

There was absolutely no need to pay for this since the free version served all my needs, but I did so in order to support the developer on this truly original and innovative launcher. The cubes are particularly useful. My only request would be to add a widget to be activated by long pressing an icon, and also to add the option to add shortcuts to the open tile group, as I use another app called Hermit which creates apps that can only be activated by shortcuts.

U70%
by U####:

Best launcher. Even though this is capable of giving a Windows feel, that is not the extent of its capabilities. Very flexible. If the Home launcher Devs are reading: maybe a way to save configuration to file/cloud? Still 5 stars -well deserved.

N70%
by N####:

I love the windows phone platform, and was disappointed when I recently switched to the inferior (in my opinion) android platform. I've tried a few windows styled launchers but this one most closely resembles the win phone platform. I just wish it had live tiles integrated in more apps. All in all though, I'm very pleased.

It felt like getting a new phone when I started to use Square Launcher! Running on an S6 Edge, it is massively stable and lightning fast. Used the full trial period to review the premium features and had no hesitation in purchasing the key! Highly recommended.

Fedup with your boaring old Android UI this is for you. I have not found any conflicts with any of my active programs I.e Auto SMS , Sound Profile and Clock. The only thing is , it is so customable you are forever changing window size and colour. Have fun.

Coming from Windows phone, I love this launcher! Thank you! It made me feel back at home. The default launcher on my Pixel was frustrating because it didn't even show notifications on the app icons. This launcher fixes that. I'm happy to compensate the developer for his work.

I've always been a fan, dare I say it of the windows UI , so very pleased when I came across SquareHome, loved it so much even bought the activation key after 2 days use! If there is one thing the dev could change/improve is maybe be allowed to edit/change the style of the notification count (just a number on tile). I personally would like to see the count on a little badge on the tile that you could edit badge color and shape just to make the notification count stand out a bit more.

and getting better and better. i have only one complaint: the new flaslight widget has a label that cannot be switched off. i have labels hidden on every tile, so that kinda sticks out (and imho you dont need a label anyway on a flaslight widget). ed.: thank you for the quick reply, chyk, the coming fix and the awesome launcher!

The only thing I missed about my old windows phone was the live tiles I am an avid android and Samsung fan always had the usual launchers ...Then saw this downloaded the free version wanted to see how it behaved whether it was a battery hog etc...Hands down the best launcher I've had beautiful interface smooth after just a week brought the key...I can see me using this for years love it

N70%

Had a Windows phone and missed the interface. Switched to Android because I could customize the interface and for the good app store selection. This launcher now gives me the best of both worlds. Great ability to customize exactly the way I want!

So far Best Windows Home I've used. I wish it took on a little more of the windows features like navigation bar as a windows phone. The app drawer is glitchy. I have the paid version and it doesn't matter. You touch an app and it moves it to the top to recent apps and selects the app in its place. So you then have to close that app open apps and select it again. Annoying sometimes. But I like it.

Great Windows 10 mobile launcher, the best I've tried. Works very well with the Whicons icon pack! Only thing I've noticed currently is that images used for icon style are sometimes rotated, with no option to rotate it back to the correct position, making the image/photo not usable as an icon style.

This is something i was looking for. Gorgeous UI and all the tiles are accessible with talk back app for the blind. You see, im low vision and i use my android with a screen reader. Not all custom launchers out there are friendly led alone the ntf count are not announced. This one hit the mark both style and accessibility. Immediately bought the key. Llooking forward for a lock screen paired to this.

This is the best windows phone app, and I really love it. Before I have downloaded many win apps but look like I don't like them too much. Finally I found the thing that I like, and hope you guys work hard to make it more perfect and smooth. Thank you!

Loved the idea of the Windows phone but have always been an android user. Come across this launcher and now have the best of both worlds. The look is great and the customisation options brilliant, I love it!

Really good launcher for a Windows guy who does not want a 13 year+ old UI!! Love the tile size control which allows for large tiles for photos etc, tile notifications ..just wish to contact search was deeper than one letter, but still learning the system.

Having come from a WinPhone, I missed the tiles. This launcher app is better than WinPhone tiles! It has novel features like "Cubes." A Cube is a six sided tile, where you can assign an app to each face. For example, all of my news apps are on a cube. To select an app you flip the cube with a swipe, which rotates the cube to show another face. This app is definitely worth buying.

N70%

Best Windows launcher out there. Most things works without problems apart from the picture gallery which for some reason doesn't stay the size you set it when full width of the screen.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like it but the more I play with it the more I understand what windows was trying to do with there phones. If you are tired of same old android home screens then give this a try. It cant hurt to try it and if you like it buy the full version to get all functionality like I did.

For years I've used various WP style launchers, and hands-down this one is the best. I've used it on my previous phone, my current one, and my media tablet. Though for the life of me I can't figure out how to unlock the tile mode again lol. Also, nevermind DeWayne's comment about your name - it's great

I loved the Windows Phone UI from day one. The "dashboard" updates of new messages by news services, several work and home email accounts, and many messaging apps that I use makes it more useful than ever. Now I can have the best of Android with WP home screen functionality. The developer keeps the app features and fixes coming regularly. Nicely done.

After 3 years with WP 8, 8.1 and 10 on a Lumia 925 that I loved, I'm back on Android. This launcher may keep me here! The biggest problem was discovering Squarehome! This launcher is way more functional and polished than other wannabe WP style launchers. You need to raise your visibility. While a name change would help, gorilla marketing looks like the only way forward right now. I will try to help starting with this brief comment.
