Home Automation Voice commands for the Universal Devices ISY (ISY-994i), Insteon Hub, Eventghost, Domoticz / Domotica, Vera (Beta) and Tasker. Feel free to email me if your home automation controller is not listed and has an http api so I can look into integrating your controller.

This project was created to chain together home automation tasks in a single voice command using natural English sentence structure (***Now supports other languages****). Examples of commands that can work are "turn on the tv and turn off the lights", "turn off the living room, dinning room and kitchen lights", "turn the living room and basement lights off", "turn off all the lights", "start the playstation in the bedroom" and "turn off all the lights and turn on the playstation".
This project will work on its own or with the AutoVoice tasker plugin which will allow for "OK Google" commands on some devices (see the AutoVoice app for more info). The UDP Sender tasker plugin is required for EVENTGHOST communication (this may be changed in the future but was the easiest way to integrate EventGhost quickly).
To use "OK GOOGLE" commands or to say commands after pressing the GOOGLE NOW SEARCH BOX on the GOOGLE NOW launcher you need to enable Settings>Accessibility>AutoVoice_Google_Now_Intergration

There is a learning curve, I had trouble setting up the Insteon Hub, but contacted the developer, and was able to finally get it sorted out. It's still a work in progress, but enjoy the challenge. The developer was very understanding and found the mistakes I had made and was quickly resolved.

Was able to get it configured/up & running with ISY in < 2 minutes minus instructions. Only reason not to rate 5 is for the interface. Geeks will love it but Apple types will scoff at it. Good job developer.

Simple in design. Thorough in integration. This app does it all. It provides complete voice control over my entire insteon based smart home. By using discarded cellphones and tablets in each room, I've virtually eliminated table top keypads and clunky GUI interfaces. This app is a must have for anyone who lives in a smart home

Tried this out with my domoticz home automation system and once setup it works very well. The ui is quite hard to understand but the instructions are clear. Excellent app and I look forward to it's progress.

Spent several hours trying to get tasker to do what this did for me in minutes. Easy to tweak for speech recognition problems, easy to set up.

While the idea of the app is great (and theoretically it does work!) it has been executed poorly. I've tested it with domoticz, but the fact that every setting (hostname, username, password) has to be set in a different dialog is very confusing and annoying. Even more annoying are the default values for these settings and the fact that if you enter nothing, some kind of preset variable appears. This value is then used in requests to domoticz! There is still a lot of work to do to make this usable. For now I'm uninstalling.
