About SMS+Tether enabler [Xposed]
Enables SMS, Tethering/Hotspot, USSD codes, and SIP calling feature on Nexus 4, 5, 6, 7 (2012: GSM and 2013: LTE version), 9 and 10 and Moto E, G and X running Android 4.4+ using the Xposed Framework (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-installer-versions-changelog-t2714053).
You need to have the Xposed Framework installed in order to make this app/module work!!!
Install the Xposed Framework
Install this module
Activate the module in the Xposed module manager
Reboot your device
Enjoy the freedom ;)
It is not necessary to install this app on a device already having the SMS and tetheing/hotspot functionality. This mod might also work on non-Nexus or non-Moto devices, with a proper radio (2G, 3G, 4G) but with disabled SMS or with disabled tethering/hotspot options (by the vendor/provider).
I would appreciate it if you could rate the module after trying it out and maybe leave a comment to explain what you think of it. Maybe you also have a feature request.
The tethering function for example was such a feature request.

Seem this on XDA with title SMS for any ROM. Excited but turn out it doesn't work for me. With this module turn on, reboot but the SMS setting still can not be found. It would be a wonder if it works.

It worked! It was able to reveal the Options for SMS and tethering options in the Settings page. Unfortunately, when I tried sending an SMS, it shows me that it successfully sent, but the receiver never actually receives the text. Same goes vice versa, I cant recieve any texts. Im on Nexus 7 2013 LTE (stock 4.4.2 KOT49H) on AT&T tablet data plan. I've read some carriers block SMS feature for data-only plans...
