HTC One Google Play Edition Android 4.4 KitKat OTA Update - Download Link Included

The HTC One - Google Play Edition Android 4.4 KitKat firmware update just started to roll out. It is available as over the air update or if you can not get it automatically, the download link is included in the post.

The update is around 320MB and arrives as promised, but you might be disappointed to find out that it does not include the new Android launcher with Google Now integrated.

After downloading the ZIP file you can flash the update from your stock recovery by selecting "Update from phone storage". Make sure that the file is downloaded on your local storage.
