Latest Google Play Services Update May Disable Android Device Manager
Have you ever lost your phone and used Android Device Manager to locate it or even lock / erase the phone remotely? Regardless if this is the first time you are hearing about ADM or you have used it before, a recent update in Google Play Services might have disabled this amazing tool without even asking you. If you have Google Play Services 4.0.30 or 4.0.31, make sure that Android Device Manager is still enabled by going to Settings > Security > Device administrators.

It is good to check these settings from time to time just to make sure that you are prepared for unfortunate events like getting your phone stolen or simply leaving it somewhere.
