A. "Flashing" is a common term used in international calling. Traditionally, Flashing happens when someone outside of the US wants to communicate with someone in the states. They will call and let the phone ring once or twice, then hang up. This "Flash" or missed call is a signal to call back.

This is done because calling from the US to other countries is much cheaper than the other way around. Unfortunately, this practice has shifted the majority of the long distance expense to the US caller. With 8hundo, the US caller Flashes the International party for free. When the international party calls back, the call is free.
