التأسيس :
تأسست كلية طب الأسنان كلية مستقلة عن كلية الطب والعلوم الصحية في جامعة عدن بقرار رئيس جامعة عدن أ. د. عبد العزيز صالح بن حبتور رقم (390) لعام2009 وبعد توافر المتطلبات الأساسية للكلية بأقسامها العلمية التالية:

جراحة الفم والأسنان Oral Surgery
العلاج التحفظي Conservative Dentistry
العلاج التعويضي Prosthodontic Dentistry
طب اسنان الأطفال الوقائي والتقويمي Pedo- Ortho- Prevention (POP)

. وقد اصدر مؤخرا الأستاذ .د. عبد العزيز صالح بن حبتور رئيس جامعة عدن قرار بشأن تعيين الأخت أ. مشارك د. أحلام هبة الله علي اسماعيل عميداً لكلية طب الأسنان – جامعة عدن وذلك بتاريخ 25 مارس 2014م لتكون ثاني عميدة تدير عمادة الكلية كما صدر قرار تعيين أول عميدة لكلية طب الأسنان في جامعة عدن واليمن أستاذ مُشارك د. مُهجت أحمد علي عبده رقم (394) لعام2009. وقرار تكليف الدكتورة أحلام هبة الله علي قائم بأعمال نائب العميد للشئون الأكاديمية بقرار رقم 319 لعام 2010. جاءت فكرة إنشاء أول كلية لطب الأسنان في جامعة عدن في العام 1997 في الجمهورية اليمنية استجابة طبيعية للنهضة التعليمية التي شهدتها اليمن منذ قيام الوحدة اليمنية المباركة حيت أن جامعة عدن في السنوات الأخيرة وانطلاقاً من حاجة المجتمع الماسة لتخصص طب الأسنان واستناداً إلى مشروع إنشاء كلية طب الأسنان والذي قام بإعداده الأستاذ. د. صالح علي بآصرة رئيس جامعة عدن السابق ووزير التعليم العالي السابق وبدعم كبير ومبارك من قبل رئيس الجمهورية السابق علي عبد الله صالح ، فقد صدر قرار مجلس جامعة عدن رقم(84) في دورته التاسعة لشهر أكتوبر 1997م بإنشاء تخصص طب الأسنان في جامعة عدن Founded:
