Unable to import back up. Lets me select file enter password. Cant hit submit or anything to confirm password

G70%

Most of my transactions either take days, or never confirm. It makes an otherwise fine app near impossible to effectively use.

Y70%
by Y####:

Has always been slow to confirm 1 hour or so but yesterday I sent 2 transactions and they are both still waiting to confirm. 20Hrs and 14hrs later still "high priority". Their support leads to a defunct web site. You have been warned......

M70%
by M####:

No password reset and no links for support in the app. Don't waste your time on this. Doesn't work and no real support. If you've collected on this app you've lost those bitcoin. Probably a scam app. Contacted support and they want my backup. For what to steal my btc. Even sent my other wallet address to get my btc followed by three days of excuses. Will publish full correspondence this evening. Will attach link to a blog about who actually got any issues resolved

U70%

Great wallet if you are into collecting Bitcoin. Except you are unable to pay anyone from wallet. Doesn't matter if encrypted or not. No other way to get bitcoin out of wallet. Don't use.

I was able to get very quick support. I had a small question with how the Backes up wallet works. The help was very helpful and I give it 6 stars! ✨

Had a problem importing a wallet backup. Emailed support and got quick and successful resolution !

But won't let me send small payments. I just want to transfer $1.69 to another wallet, and it won't let me.

The app will not send my bitcoin, so I have bitcoin I cannot use.

A simple and easy to use wallet with fantastic security and a hardworking developer to back up his work. Simply needs a error message when trying to send more than you have in your wallet I will give it 5 stars.

5/8/15 update: Same crap. Still not working !!!!!!??????I installed the app on a Galaxy Note 4. When launching the app I just get a black screen and after a (long) while a pop up that the app is not responding with option to terminate or report. Would love to use this app but at this point a no-go. Also, there is no info ANYWHERE on what kind of NFC Tag to use/where to get it/how to configure for use with NFC tag. I think this info should be provided somewhere.... Thanks for getting on top of this!

I recommend.

Very nice app, great design.

At first this could receive and not send. I tried this with sending different amounts to 4 different wallets and on the last occasion, after a very long confirmation time I wasn't expecting, it arrived after about 50 minutes. So this wallet seems pretty smooth and does what it says (eventually). I like the way it works.

No customization options like other apps, no calculator to figure out how many bits you can send, doesn't show miner fee, can't set a miner fee. Also, my first transaction I did with this app my bits got lost. My wallet says waiting to broadcast on network. I click info and there's no transaction on the blockchain. It's been 15 hours and my transaction still is lost.... Would not recommend to anyone until they fix my complaints.

Been spending the past hour trying to get my bitcoins out of this wallet and it does not work. Watch out! Don't put money in this unusable wallet as it is a black hole. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 for reference...

Security at its best!

Why do I have to choose a password that contains upper case, lower case, digits and special characters? Why do I need to choose a password at all? My phone is locked with a password I don't need a password on your wallet app. Why can't I try your app without choosing a password that I will have forgotten the next time I want to use your app?

D70%
by D####:

I can't get past password selection. I'm keep being told to pick a password that's not easily guessable. I've combined multiple words w/upper & lower case w/#'s even tried throwing in special characters. I understand needing security but not at the expense of not being able to remember your password. After all if I need to write it down so I can remember it that means someone can find it which means not secure.

It wont let me choose a password I want to choose.. Frustrating.. Interface has too much going on.. Immediate uninstall

With bitcoins, safety always feels a little bit tricky to me, but the encription of this app seems to be incrediby good!

This is defenitely the best bitcoin wallet app I've tried so far. Especially because of the robust backup features.

I requested for the full open-source of the Aegis Bitcoin wallet for Android. I advise that all users only use a minimal amount of coin or proceed with caution until this application has been audited thoroughly in production. When a software company claims their software is open-source I expect for them to list the full source code such as a github repository upon releasing. This isn't the case with Aegis Wallet and I've had to manually request the release of the source code. The end-user needs to be made fully aware of how certain applications handle their financial data, private keys, and/or Bitcoins. A slick shiny UI can be nice but in all reality just because it says it's "encrypted" doesn't necessarily make it so. Look forward to the 'opening of the source' and thoroughly vetting this application.

I like the slick and simpel design. It's one of the first bitcoin wallets I that find easy to use and has a good design. :)

U70%

I tried a really long password, consisting of just lowercase letters, and was told it was weak. That makes you wonder about the security skills of the developers of this app. I won't touch it until this is fixed, but it is a very bad start.

U70%

I write this after a much befuddled experience with these coins of bit. 'What's a bitcoin? Why are people using them? What's the point?' These questions were some of the first I've had. After I figured out those answers, I began to wonder how I can secure my few coins and not let the bad guys steal them from me. I hear stories about people losing their wallets or whatnot, and yet here I stand, in defiance, with my phone raised in the air proclaiming, 'I will not let you steal my coins, minions of evil!' Thanks to this app, I can say that with confidence now (because frankly, I was bluffing before... ). I enjoy that this app gives little tidbits and helpful information as to how to download, store and secure my coins. Maybe the world isn't such a bad place. Well, it probably is, but at least my bitcoins are secure, and if apps were made of hope, then I'm a little hopeful. Best. thang. evar.

Best wallet ever NFC and Password encryption and a plus is the onsite or of site back up

Y70%
by Y####:

It has encryption! It does need work in the visual department though, it looks rather blurry on a high DPI screen as if images are being used to create the visual elements instead of the native SDK. Please don't try to reinvent the UI wheel on android and just focus on building a nice wallet, there was nothing wrong with the reference wallet's UI. A testnet mode would also be nice.
