Unfortunately this app does only one sound per letter. It's not a good tool to train a child learning to read because of this. The app also does not address common combinations like ch, er, etc...

Excellent for teaching second language students the basic sounds. After these sounds have been mastered a good teacher will move on to the other associated sounds of the same letter. You can't expect new language learners to learn it all at once.

I home school and u can to. This is a read app for a home school curr. It say on the site to use it for parent so if you are not sure how to say sound it will tell you. By the way I find my kid 3yrs using it often herself

There's only one sound per letter, even with letters that should have multiple sounds. I thought they were teaching phonograms!
