I have been using this since two months. I did not find any problem at all. I can add folder to my home screen. Accessing bookmarked folder is also very easy. Also, I can renaming a folder is very easy. Overall, experience is awesome. The one thing I don't understand is that I have installed many file manager from tech reviews site. However, majority of them have issue like file remaining, not facility for add to home screen, accessing bookmarked folder require multiple clicks. I think they got paid for best reviews. Tech guys should test thing and add them in list of best file manager.

Really it has amazing interface, I really like it,..due to it ability of internal music player nd image viewer, most wonderful that it show songs by folder wise... But one thing need to be fix, there is no option to deselct that folder which I dont wnts to show in music section, means it also pick up my all call recording folder.. Which I don't wants to show… .there.

There are so many File Manager apps and I've tried a bunch of them. This one is by far the easiest and best File Manager app I've used to date. It's so easy to move large groups of images, video, audio files to your SD-Card. Create new folders, etc. It's very powerful and very simple. I with I'd found it a long time ago.

Worthy of 5 stars if it would recognise my SD card formatted as internal memory on my Moto X play. After experimenting I can now say that it works perfectly. The issue was due to SD card not formatting properly, the extra memory now shows up as main memory not internal. Excellent file manager.. thanks

I'm very impressed with this app. No adverts, search function is fast and accurate, well organised folders. You even have a folder for new files and and a folder where you can access your files on the Cloud e.g. in Google Drive. Prefer this to File Commander which has too much advertising and isn't so easy to use.

Absolutely incredible program it is amazing because of able to move stuff from the Main storage to the SD card and the graphical interface makes it much more easier to use. I tried other ones they were very very complicated this one is extremely simple and amazing it really helps you to organize everything that's on in your cell phone. It also helped me to find stuff that I knew that I put in this cell phone but I could not find. It also easily organizes things such as your PDF files which I always have difficulty finding. I give this 10 Stars

There ought to be a special medal of honor for developers who write apps like this. I have been installing and deleting files managers for a decade, all of them do a thousand things I don't need them to do, but don't do simple file management. This app is perfect. It let's me manage files on my phone, my cloud services, and my PC; including the ability to move files among all three. This app is a must have for every Android device.

On my old tablet, on 2016 when ES File Explorer starts to go crazy like they are trying to push me notifications that is completely unnecessary for me so I got my new tablet preinstalled with this file manager. This file manager is faster, less bloated and smarter than ES File Explorer. To users who does not know how to hide folders and files: You must have "Show hidden files" enabled then put the dot before any name while renaming files or folders or creating them to hide folders and files. Android is Linux-based.

Works great with my NAS drive, which is why I tried the app in the first place. Also great for finding other files within my Galaxy S8+ and the SD card. I'm a little disappointed it doesn't fully work with Google Drive, and omits random folders from view.

The best file manager I tried. Simple, lean, fast, powerful and featureful. Well designed for phone screens, tablet owners may prefer the a multi column one. Not as good looking as some, but it is a very minor point for me.

Just lost over 500 images gathered over 5 years. Somehow decided my device needed more storage so deleted saved albums. Unable to reload them due to deleted from SD card and cloud. NOT VERY IMPRESSED.

Best file manager ever in Play Store. but you need to fix a little bug. that is - when I simply 1 click the folder icon it's react like when a folder has been presses for a long time. and after back-preesing the problem has gone. fix the problem and I will give you five star… And very very thanks to provide USB detection option…

Was frustrated when I changed from Blackberry torch 2 to Blackberry Priv. Android on Priv has no file manager to do such things as organize and rename image files. File Manager app allows me to do these things and does not have pop up ads that other File Manger apps have. Highly recommend

10 times better than the stock app that came with my phone. That's why the 5* rating, but it does have 1 shortcoming for me. Can't rename pictures in image view. When we take pictures with our phones, the picture is given a weird filename. I like to rename my pictures. Since my eyes aren't what they used to be, I can't see those little icons well to rename in list or grid view, so I have see the picture it in image view to be able to rename it. With the stock app, I was able to rename the picture in image view then slide over to the next one and rename it. With this app in image view, I can slide, but I can't rename.

I've used a few of these and this is indisputably the best! Easy, intuitive, many options to transfer files around and a multitude of useful utilities. No crapware and no ads... Simply the best file manager around. Some useful features for future consideration would be to enhance multi-select to include the ability to "select all" or "select none" from list of files, including those searched and from those searched, include ability to copy, move or delete. Ability to search by date and size.

I liked it but for some reason it won't let me move files to my sd card. It just says that it fails to move the files and shows everything that it couldn't move. Can anyone help me with this?

This app does a lot for a free app being able to access USB and got an image viewer and music player. It also categorizes file types. Even got SMB and FTP where it would be on Premium versions on other apps. However, the image editor feels choppy. The copy-paste may not work and keyboard may not come up but that is a glitch so it doesn't break functionality.

Hi, I just noticed that this app has gone ad version as it says "contains ads". Well, this was the USP of this excellent file manager when it was ad free until recently. Looks like in recent update the developers made it ad version. Anyway, I was apprehensive of this move as it is highly unviable for an app developer to work hard to make an excellent app and sustain without financial gain. Having said that I would like to go for a paid version if the fee is nominal. Please let me know. Thanks Gyan ****************************************** Hi, this is a latest add-on to my previous review. Yesterday, I attached my external Seagate hard drive to copy some movies from it to mobile storage but file Explorer failed to browse the hard drive saying "file format not supported". Alternatively, I had to first copy to a pen drive and then from pen drive to mobile storage which took considerable time. I request F File Manager team to look into this and fix at the earliest. Rest everything is superb about this app based on my experience so far. Thanks. Original review: I was earlier using ES File Explorer because of its flexibility and loads of options. However, when I recently came to know about this app, I downloaded it immediately. After downloading I explored the app and found this is really worthy. Best thing about this app is that it offers almost all useful options in a simple way and is totally ad free. Now, I have uninstalled ES File Explorer and am very happy with my decision. I hope F File Manager team keeps up the good work makes this app more feature rich in future. Thanks Gyan

Easy to use? I can't even find information on how to delete or remove a file or folder. I have no idea why people rate this thing so high. It's a waste of my time.

Amazing File Manager as many users commented. Now with new recycle bin feature allow to retrieve back files accidentally deleted. Worth more than 5 stars!

I was annoyed with the bloat of ES and the privacy intrusions of Astro and wanted a simple file explorer with network capabilities. File Manager is exactly what I was looking for. Keep it simple and intuitive and you will have a winner.

Simple, elegant, and loaded with awesomely helpful feature; and all for free. The one thing I would love to see added is the ability to permanently set apps so that the file manager only uses them to open whatever file type I'm concerned with at the time. Example, the manager doesn't like to play animated gifs. So, every time I want to open one, I have to tell the manager to use another app. Not a huge problem, though. I can live with it, should the developers choose to never change it.

Perfect file manager! It's really nice as it is. It's missing a dark theme but that's not important. PLEASE, DON'T BLOAT IT like it's happened to many others!

My new phone has a lousy file manager (shows files...no distinction of phone or SD Card memory). This is the perfect solution to my problem. Thank you.

This works for me being new to Android. It gives me a little insight into where things are kept, can I move things, move or copy something to an SD card from internal SD. So far it's simple and judt what I need. While I'm sure there may be better, out there, again being relatively new to Android this is great for me
