الحكمة هي عصارة التجارب الحياتية وافراز للحوادث والنوازل وإلهام بعد تفكير وتدبر للامور.والحكمة هي نتيجة قناعة راسخة. و الحكمة نظر في المآل واستخلاص للعاقبة بعد استشراف للمستقبل ومعرفة للمقصد.
الحكمة هي أشد ما يحتاجه الناس لكي يتجنبوا ارهاقات الحياة التي تعصف بهم كل يوم, هي اشد ما يحتاجه الانسان ليكمل حياته بسعادة, فمن إمتلك الحكمة قد ملك الدنيا وما فيها, فالناس لا زالت تنظر إلى العقل الباقي ولا تنظر إلى الجسد الفاني.
