Buaya Putih berkisah tentang Bunga, seorang gadis setengah manusia, setengah siluman buaya. Ibunya yang bernama Ranum dulu dihamili oleh siluman buaya. Ia dipilih karena lahir saat gerhana matahari. Demi bisa awet muda, Marabajo si siluman buaya hendak mengambil ari-ari bayi Ranum, serta darahnya ketika bulan kabangan tiba.
Usai melahirkan, Ranum tercebur ke sungai. Bayinya diselamatkan oleh Aspar si pemburu. Sementara Ranum diselamatkan Bue Baputi. Marabajo dengan bantuan Ratu Siluman Ular berhasil merebut ari-ari si bayi dari Bue Baputi.
Dua puluh tahun kemudian, si bayi bernama Bunga telah tumbuh dewasa. Di sisi lain ada Danum, anak Bue Baputi yang diculik Ratu Siluman Buaya, juga telah menjadi pemuda tampan.
Suatu ketika Danum tak sengaja menyentuh toples ari-ari milik Bunga. Kekuatan ari-ari itu masuk ke tubuh dan menyatu dengannya. Danum pun bisa kabur dengan kekuatan sakti itu. Di tempat lain, Bunga merasakan getaran aneh dalam dirinya. Ada energi di tubuhnya yang saling mencari dengan energi ari-ari di tubuh Danum. Bunga tak sadar bahwa energi itu bisa mengubah dirinya menjadi buaya.
