AVG Cleaner: Free Utilization Tool & Space Clean

I just wish that I could ask questions or find more info on the tasks AVG performs. I don't want to clear data on photos or apps without knowing what exactly is being deleted. I don't want to loose any photos, so I won't even click on it to be cleaned. I really like AVG to keep my phone performing top notch, but feel it's not as good as it could be because I have no info on how to clean without erasing.

The app keeps my tablet clean but it's absolutely useless for picking photos, either doubles or "poor quality". I'll be looking into the settings and disabling that function. This app now says "this app may not be optimised for your device" The "hibernate" function no longer works. The app require permissions but when I press Proceed I get taken to the settings page for WiFi connections etc. I presume it needs to access certain permissions and I've given those permissions but it simply doesn't work. I'm paying for the app so expect better.

I think it is good but I don't understand why now I have a constant problem with having to keep telling it to kill the apps running in the background. Seems like the battery is running down faster now. What is up with that? It is requiring to much time to constantly tell it what to do.

I like this product just fine. I'd like it even more if it weren't so needy and didn't keep asking me for affirmation all the time, like some kind of insecure, clinging lover. So passive-aggressive! I mean really, what do you want? Five stars? No one deserves five stars. Get on with your life and learn to love yourself.

Have been using this app for a LONG time! I trust it's results because my current phone along with the 6 or 7 previous phone's HAVE NEVER HAD A VIRUS!!????

App refuses to properly connect to cloud sharing services, insisting my account name is something it isn't. Then when it takes to me to the sign-in page for Google Drive it refuses to let me edit the account name ... please fix!

When you actually want the app to ignore photos and other apps that you use would be nice. Other than that its handy for cleaning up junk files and freeing up Ram.

This has been a huge improvement and looking forward for more. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and it helps a whole lot to have my phone running good and optimize. Update: I have upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 it even show it true strength and that a big plus to me

Waste of money kept for yearly subscription the latest version is too slow it's not at all working please make the older version that is really cool compared to the upgraded one

Good app but too many other versions of the same thing, AVG anti Virus pro. One opens virus scanner, the other app opens privacy and performance. Can' t they all be amalgamated into one app please?

Paid for 1yr subscription and it has now logged me out and will not let me log back in. So have gone back to being riddled with adds and wants me to upgrade

Extended the life of my old phone by freeing up memory. Reinstalled it on my brand new phone. This is a must have for me. Current phone running smoothly more than 2 years later without any problems thanks, in part, to AVG.

Best free product I have found. Inexpensive to upgrade. Upgraded but had to reset my phone now I have lost my upgrade. I can't seem to restore it. No response to inquiry yet may change rating depending on response and how long of a response time.

Been using the free version for years and it has enough features to keep my phone cleaned up.

It's OK however shortcomings include repeated requests to stop apps, duplication of cleaning instructions

Seems to work but way to many notifications. Something every time I open my phone.

App seems ok apart from constant pop ups trying to sell me upgrades etc

In general OK but annoying in respect to photos and that it selects apps most commonly used to 'uninstall'

Always my favorite cleaner and antivirus, and the newest update is unbelievable. My phone only has 8 gb internal memory, so every bit counts, and avg makes it count

I really love you but someone doesn't let me download ultimate which is on my computer

Nice App. It'd be nice after the first few times you do cleaning on it for the app to actually do it in the background rather than always having to watch the cleaning take place.

Cleans it like a fish! With all the simple, color coded directions, I imagine a drunk person cam prolly opetate this app. Heh heh heh - Joseph S.

Was a great app and i pay subscription but since last update everytime i try to open app it come up with unfortunately avg cleaner has closed please fix it

A good first line of defense, way to much spam and adds around.

Not impressed, wants to run everyday and constantly asking for upgrade, upload more app's to run efficiently! Too much, too often!

Good app... doesn't lock apps good tho

I have been with AVG for over 6 yrs. Best protection ever!! If you don't have it, your missing out.

Best app I ever downloaded it removed over a Gigabyte of cache on my phone freeing up space for apps ect.

I like that the app is there every day to remind me to do a quick scan and keep my phone running smoothly.

Nobody deserves 5* but this is close.

Good app it has helped keep my phone clean and it has speed up my phone too. Just need to get use to this updated app.

AVG Cleaner is worth it's weight in gold. It does what it is advertised to do, and does it well. That is all I ask for, and that is what I have.

Nice update Works on moto g5 plus and nvidia shield tablet so far keep up the good work

Wish the free version would autoclean, why must we have 2 separate apps?
