BigOven: 350,000+ Recipes

Weak. Costs way to much and the app never loads recipes correctly. Some items appear twice, some don't appear at all. When the screen rotates the app crashes. Unacceptable for a high cost service.

I used to love this app.... Now you have to pay for the pro version just to favorite a recipe. Most sites you have to pay more for the grocery list and things like that. It's pointless to have this app if you can't bookmark or favorite things so you can remember them for later. It keeps people from repeatedly using the app like the developer should want. Most ppl won't pay for that when it can be done elsewhere for free.

Easy to manage for multiple devices, allows easy import of recipes from all sorts of sources, and has lovely collections to get inspiration from. The meal planner seems a bit shaky to me, but I may just not be using it correctly. Overall, great kitchen app!

Not reliable and spams your grocery list with things you didn't put there. It tries to force the social network functionality on you. I'm ok with advertisements but not in the middle of my grocery list.

Not sure where the 350,000+ recipes are. I try to look something up and half the time no recipes come up. It's a great concept but don't be fooled. I bought the professional for a year to gain access to the grocery list but when it didn't work the way I thought it did I tried to cancel. The app won't refund my money and tells me to get a hold of the app maker and they won't refund me either! What a waste.

Used to be really good but can't believe that they want you to pay for pro just to see what the nutritional values are on a recipe wow pay to see if some thing has to much day or carbs way to help obesity problems by hiding it from people that's just sad and greedy as hell shame on you big oven

This app used to be awesome.....i use allrecipies most of the time but have gotten some really good recipies on this app too! So i came back to this one to get some different ideas. It won't let me save any recipies unless I agree to subscribe to their $1.99 a month or $19.99 a year. No thanks! I'll just go back to allrecipies that's free and has no adds and is hassle free! What a lame way to try make money by trying to force people to pay, not good business! Not coming back to this app anymore!

As a recipe organizer, this app is perfect! I've already upgraded to Pro for the additional bells and whistles, but the free version is worth owning if you have fewer than maybe 200 recipes to store. I highly recommend, plus it shows no sign of intruding spy or malware, so no harm in checking out.

While it's useful, it's terribly expensive! Free apps can serve similar purposes. I paid $20 for a year's use. Yet they still want to charge me to upload recipes??? That's just greed.

Very misleading!! Appears to be free; however, this app requires to upgrade to a trial for $1.99 or pro version for even more before you can even access the meal planning feature

This app is all you need. In this era of tight budgets and making your Dollar stretch, you really can't afford to not have this app. There are many of us that sit down and plan meals for the week. Those of us that are on disability have to do it by the month. You. Plan your meals it. Will list the ingredients you will need, go shopping and go home with that secure feeling that you have everything you need to make all the meals you listed. Thank you for making this app that saves me trips to the grocery store and on my meals.

It's been a really nice experience for organizing our family meals!.. it's very easy to use.. I wish that it could be in spanish and that when you add the same recipe twice to your shopping list the ingredients would add and not repeat.. but it's a very cool app!!..

I used to use this app all the time and saved recipes. Now you can't save anything without a subscription. No thanks I will go back to pinterest.

Exactly what I've been looking for over the last 5 years at least. It helps me plan and subscription is brilliant value. Works really well with recipe clipping once fully set up. Thank you.

I love the ability to collect recipes and coordinate meal plans and groceries with the rest of the house. The only flaw is that occasionally the calendar on mobile glitches.

I had originally given this 5 stars...im changing that....the recipes are great, but I just found out I can only save 50 recipes without buying pro...no good to me in that case...$2 a month is really cheap unless you live on social security and your survival bills monthly costs miiee than your income...too bad

Paid for a yearly subscription and now I find that the recipe scanning feature is extra and per scan! Seems like a con to me which is a shame as I now have a years subscription to an app I'm not going to use.

Great for finding recipes and really easy to use. Heaps of good photos and lots of contributors. The features of the pro version would be nice but are overpriced.

Very useful. You can just put in a vague search like "camping meals" and it brings up camping desserts, camping breakfast, camping lunch, even camping snacks!

I really loved this app, but I refuse to sign up for pro, just to save a recipe! I was able to do it before, why change it now?? Guess, I'll have to find a new app!

Been using for years, always helps in a pinch when I can't think of a good recipe to make for a meal.

Wow. The monetization in this app is so terrible I am uninstalling now. Paying for a limited number of scans. Just sell the app it's not a tool that has that much value. You can already scan text from screen shots for free. Total waste of money and time.

Best app! I can keep all my recipes in one place and build shopping lists automatically by adding a recipe. I have used this app for three years and don't plan to stop anytime soon.

4 years after I first reviewed this app and it's still one of my favorites!!!! Love love love this app! Especially the 'Use leftovers' feature. Gives me ideas whether I'm using leftovers or just not sure what to make with what's in the fridge!

I absolutely love this app, I use it all the time. I give only four stars because the pro version is subscription based. I'd gladly pay for the pro version if it was a $5 one time purchase, other than that I recommend it to friends all the time.

Super easy to use, grocery list syncs seamlessly so it's great for couples/families. You can use "recipes" to store weekly fallback lists. Definitely worth the cost of a premium subscription.

Decided to check this out again after 3 years with All Recipes. I cannot believe that you still cannot sort search results by reviews. If you can, that remains a mystery to me. I'm looking for good recipes with lots of reviews, but a recipe will show 5 stars even if it only has 1 review. At least show the review count next to the stars on the search results. Super simple feature to add.

I love cooking and I like being able to see new ideas from other people all in one place instead of searching the internet and opening a million pages, now it's just one.

Not a single off the recipes I found on YouTube could be clipped onto this app. Since I gather a fair amount of recipes from YouTube, it is definitely useless for me.

It is supposed to allow you to save 200 per the developer but I think it doesn't have enough categories . Just my thing , needs work .

Always go to big oven before Google for recipes. Plus I get to save my own recipes and share them

Love this app, most recipes are great. Some appear to be 'borrowed' from other sources and not credited properly, but, otherwise, fantastic resource.

I really like it but i t can be completed at times so for the people that like simple things I don't recommend it BUT I love it so I don't have a problem :)

I am absolutely addicted to this app by far the best recipe app in the play store love the sync, folder, grocery list option.

I downloaded it to find recipes when I was in the mood for something new. I don't need notifications on my phone or emails about anything, especially when I didn't request those things.

This app makes me hungry.
