How do I view images in full size?

You need to uncheck the fit-screen size. Then you will be able to zoom in and out on text or images.

How do I zoom in or out?

Nimbus Note has the standard two-finger zooming.

What does "fit-screen size" stand for in note settings?

"Fit-screen size"' means the contents of a note are displayed as a single column, which is more convenient when using a mobile device for viewing. Sometimes you need to view a note the way it is on a site, but sometimes you need to view it in full-size. In that case, all you need to do is uncheck the “fit-screen size” mode.

Pros: I'm in love with the interface. Plus there are no adds! This app has all the BASIC features a quick note taking app should have, if not the most advanced. Cons: Kinda slow when opening/editing notes. An annoying feature/bug, if you switch between 'All notes' and 'folders' tabs a lot of times and then press back to exit the app, it keeps jumping back n forth between them and you have to press multiple times resulting in a sort of flickering screen. Please fix.

I want to like this, as I'm sick of Evernote's greed and this seems like the best alternative. But the horrific, oversized typeface in the note viewer and editor makes it literally painful to read my notes - with no option to change this. (These notes have properly small typeface on the Windows version of Nimbus, so it can't be the notes themselves. Evernote has a pleasantly small typeface, which I prefer.) I can't get past the eyestrain and frustrating scrolling caused by billboard-sized note text to test out this app further.

I had a problem with the app (which turned out to be user error) and I emailed them. Got a reply in about twelve hours, and they had figured out the issue about ten minutes after that! Really impressed.

This app was exactly what I was looking for - a simple note-taking app with the option to add rich text, pictures (within my note) and attachments. You can also work offline and set a pin password for security. Unfortunately, it asks me for my pin at all times. I would like it a lot more if it only asked for my pin when starting the app.

Dev, please add checkbox support, it's a must feature for note app imo !! And please note that dark theme inverts the color of note content which is really confusing & weird! Waiting for an update

N70%
by N####:

The point of a note program is that you put data in and it stays. Using the windows client, and the android client has twice now resulted in large portions of notes simply disappearing. Be cautious of inputting data you need.

Please add fingerprint lock system,Its time consuming to type passcodes everytime to open the app

1. The text I write and the text I read are in two different fonts, that's disturbing. 2. Why hide the search button in the main menu? 3. I rarely need the to-do button while editing a note. I think it takes unnecessary space. Make an icon out of it.

Right, ever since Evernote drop the only two device sync on the freemium account I've been looking for a better choice. This is exactly what we need. Easy to use, simple import tool from Evernote db directly into the app. Free with a good amount of data sync of 100 meg per month. Nice ui. And Dev team that is quick to respond to you email. I will promote thus app over Evernote Onenote Devonthink or any of the multitude options out there. Test it out your own self you will not regret.

Good note application and I would give it five stars if every time I logged on to my desktop, I stopped getting an error message saying 'Nimbus has stopped working, search Windows for a solution'

The app does everything I need for productivity and research. Is very well designed. Performance is top notch. Had an issue with search results, customer service fixed it immediately. Highly recommend to anyone!

T70%
by T####:

It uses the system font for notes right up until I enter edit mode for a note. Then, it switches to using a "transitional serif" font that is not only terrible for reading in the dark theme (which I need for accessibility purposes) but is also extremely blurry and somewhat pixelated, like a bitmap font scaled too high and then deliberately blurred for a cheap hack antialiasing effect.

Overall quite like it, even it lost the setting all the time, the default folder, preview can not remember its setting.

Has the potential to replace Evernote. It could benefit from material design interface and using Google Drive as a data repository. Defenetely one to watch

I moved from Evernote with the promise this app shows. The repeat reminders, the built in task lists, the excellent handling of attachments, along with seamless Evernote import make this app very appealing. My biggest wish would be to make an entire folder available offline rather than by the note and to sort notes by 'Due Date'.

I just downloaded this program. Am in the testing-it-out phase, evaluating the support and comparing it to another program that I have been using for over a year; which will take some time. Results will determine further use. Rating 3 stars until further notice.

The notes got bug where deleting word is not right. Deleting word on word before last one, making the last word cant be deleted. Please fix it

N70%

Yeah it won't let me log in with the same info as their Clipper. Still just a joke of a company. That why there not a lot of downloads!!

Thought I'd found a nice replacement for Evernote, but, alas, this app has major flaws. There are many, but I will name just two. (1) The Anroid editor is erratic, at best.Quite frustratingly, the backspace sometimes deletes, sometimes scrambles the letters, sometimes leaves spaces. There are other inexplicable editing glitches (e.g., formatting not being undone when you try to turn it off). This renders the app only good for one line notes with no editing. (2) The straw that broke the camels back was that today I was using the windows editor and had spent a considerable amount of time crafting a critical paragraph when suddenly all my recent changes literally just disappeared before my eyes. Best as I can tell, what happened is that it synced the note to the cloud, then resynced the older version back to my desktop AS I WAS EDITING IT. What a major flaw! Wasted time is not worth it. Seriously looked into going back to Evernote, even at a price, because this app IS NOT READY FOR PRIMETIME. Seems like it's still in beta.

During the weekend the app stopped syncing. I'm using a BLU Advance 5, but I doubt it's the phone.

I really try to find a full featured noting app and Nimbus does well. Just adding some features and make UI a bit better can make it the best.

Easy to use. Syncs across devices. Would like to see aan application for Mac as well instead of just accessing it from the web, which requires internet

How can the android version not be able to do bullets or tab/indent

It's a must have for everyone. Loved it. I don't usually take the effort to write review but after downloading the way this works is exceptional.

N70%
by N####:

N70%
by N####:

This app seemed to be the perfect choice, but unfortunately it does not work on my mobile phone. I have a Google Pixel phone and although it installs without issue, it cannot sync to my desktop notes. This is a major fail and on that basis I cannot recommend this. Two stars, for a nice interface. If the dev ever manages to get it working, then I'll come back and review.

N70%
by N####:

Was very excited that this could replace Evernote. Operation and layout, especially on the desktop client is nearly identical. Good import of Evernote files. Weirdness with having to upload each note to import into the app, though. The deal breaker is that when I search for a term it merely shows which note contains that term. Once inside the note, nothing is highlighted and I need to manually go through the entire note to find what I am looking for.

N70%
by N####:

I have literally tried them all and there are a handfull of good ones. But not one that checks all the boxes for me. There's a lot to like here and with responsive developers it may may come out on top. The top negative for me is not being able to manually sort folders and notes, like say zoho notebook. I would also like to see fingerprint locking. Zoho notebook also does this well. A choice of theme colors, and a black option would be nice.

Just starting with this one, but the attentive responses I'm seeing from the developer have simply impressed the hell out of me. I will, of course, adjust my rating as necessary. One question: When viewing my newly created account info it says "30 days". Does this indicate that a free account is only temporary?

This thing was awesome, but when I needed to cross platform it just didn't come through. it didn't save all my files and lost the most important ones in the original device, and when I tried to look it up online it had none of my files. this thing failed me. CUSTOMER SERVICE at least tries to help

After using this system for a few months now, I really have only one issue which I hope the devs will address. I have problems with syncing between devices. All devices are set to full sync but changes made sometimes do not sync and I can't get it to. I have already had to add information manually. I really hope this issue is addressed.

Looking good and ready to purchase. A few bugs and some features needed - highlight searches etc - just noticed app hasn't been updated in over 14 months !!! Won't be holding my breath for updates. Uninstalled. Thank you.

Unfortunate that I can sign in with Google credentials from the web app, but not Android app. UPDATE: To respond to the authors' response. I'm not quite sure how password reset is relevant. My point is that I can use a Google account (without creating a Numbus account) from the web app, but no Google sign-in is available on Android app.

I really want to like this app. The windows app is quite good, clean easy to use, even though it has its occasional hiccups. But the android app is just bad. It keeps logging me out, forgets my preferences, has sometimes weird problems with displaying notes correctly. If I want to just jot down a quick note and I have to fill in my username and password about 50% of the time, that is just a deal breaker.

Note view window (when someone clicks on a note to view it) is kinda badly designed. Looks like an ameature xml layout desinger just pissed it off. Could have been a lot more better. Otherwise I would have given it 6 star. :D

Plus: free, intuitive, sleek in design, great sync functions, and most important of all, a powerful clipper. Improvements to be made: inability to delete the built-in MY NOTES folder, which to be honest, is quite annoying.
