Out of Milk Pro - Grocery Shopping List

I like this app and use it constantly as far as basically typing a list and saving it. This is useful for me, but that is too basic. This app could be much more useful to me IF when I select my local grocery stores, the app actually worked properly. When I go to select the grocery stores and confirm my selection, despite my confirmation for the stores, ALL show up on my list that I don't even have nearby. So I don't even bother with this! If you would fix this, then I would give this app a 5 star rating.

There's a simple bug, which prevents a Google login on Android 6 and 7. If we try, we're redirected to a Create Account screen. What I needed to do, was to log in to the Web-site (using Google), and then to switch the account to a regular email-based account. BTW, the Create Account screen doesn't work, but this is not a big deal, since my norm is already, to create new accounts from PCs and Laptops.

I bought this to get to pick from many themes and they can't decide whether to keep the themes or not. This is the second time they have taken the themes away since getting the pro version. I hate having the white background. I loved having the dark gray background. Viewing the list is much easier with a dark gray background cause it's easier on the eyes. If they can manager to bring back the dark gray background I would have no grievances and would be giving it 5 stars and saying I love it, cause that's what I thought before the last update. But right now it sucks. Every other list app has a white background. Having only a white background makes this app no different than other apps.

Love this app. We live well outside of town in a rural area, and as you might imagine, extra trips are not high on our list of desirable activities. This makes a huge difference. I'd like to be able to easily eliminate the categories as I do not find them useful for my purposes, but otherwise, out of milk makes me very happy.

I loved this app and paid for Pro. I had all my different categories that SUITED ME and the way I shop. It took me forever to do my pantey categories and this morning I start doing my shopping list and I have four categories. This app was a 5+ until now. When I started this rating I made it a 3, but changing it to 1. I paid for something that suited me and that I liked, my money was not returned now that I have to have something I DO NOT LIKE

We've been using Out of Milk Pro for several years. We love the adv nullify to share lists & I love being able to have different list for different kinds of stores & activities. We recently got new phones & My Out of Milk app stopped working. I found it very inconvienient to not be ad me to use Out of Milk!! In working through the problem their help/support staff was wonderful! This is truly a great app created by people who care.

Loved and used this app for YEARS over several devices. The total overhaul update changed or removed almost evry aspect of the app I loved. Cn't change background, cn't hav widget shortcuts for each list... what a bummer. Looking for a new app now. Dn't know why they had to take away all the good stuff

This app has been invaluable to my shopping and organising. As a chef with my own buisines I use it all the time to create different lists for different menus. The sync with other user function is a work of brilliance for organising other people for orders and shopping lists. I can't recommend this app enough and always make sure I mention it to others when they mention shopping troubles. Keep up the great work!

Now I keep losing the sharing link with my husband, but there's no way to know it's lost until he comes home from the store with last week's grocery list. I've also lost the categories several times. Starting to think about finding another app...

Why oh why have you changed everything and ruined a good app? Now if I add eggs, they aren't in a category.i seem to have to enter all the info about unknown ingredients again and can't easily move things between aisles. I'm so disappointed. This was a great app... Not anymore.

I purchased pro for one reason, the black theme. I liked the app because I could colorize my categories which made it easy to see. I like the versatility in setting things up my way. I am really disappointed that the "drag and sort" feature is no longer functional. If I had a five star app, I would make small changes that ADDED features, removing features is not smart....why would anyone want to go back to 8 track tapes when cds are so much better?

I LOVE this app BUT the latest update seemed to add a bug that causes my shopping list to rearrange itself. When I try to pull an item down to the bottom of the list it just pops right back to the top. Also, it would be nice to be able to make sub-categories for the shopping lists. For example, a shopping list could be titled GROCERIES and then create sub-categories for the different stores you need groceries at like Giant Eagle, Walmart, Sam's club, etc. Please fix the new bug and consider my idea. Thanks

How do you justify charging a "pro" fee and then "updating" the app in a way that removes ALL features previously paid for aside from no ads? I don't see anything showing plans to reimplement any of the old features or introduce new ones. I'll be calling Google for a refund. Recommend all other pro users do the same until the dev makes additions worthy of their "pro" fee. But hey, at least the sync seems to be working better. =/

A few months back we were told that we would be able to change our themes again, we still are not able to do that. it's very plain looking and I used to have a black background with white print that made it easier for me to see with the bright lights of the grocery store. Are they ever going to bring back the themes again or is this just how it's going to be just one thing. It is still very very easy to use and I use it every single time I go to the grocery store but I would like it pretty as well

Why, why why!? I have the pro version - loved it soooo much before this update. Shared lists with my spouse (we both have Pro); loved voice entry, multiple lists, and customizable categories. Now my 3 Pantry lists are all tangled up together. The wine is in with the stuff in the freezer...can't find anything. I don't give a rip about the fancy colorfulness; I just want it to work again. Boo OOM.

I've been using the pro version since before it went all free. Best grocery shopping app out there that I've found. Interface is clean and simple. Active development means it will only keep getting better. Enhancement request- would be cool to be able to add image to an item. I just added something and took a picture of it because I don't buy it often. Wouldn't it be cool to attach it right to the item? Think wine labels. Is there an iPad version coming?

I have been using this app (the paid version) For years. I use it to budget my shopping...now the shopping cart is backwards and doesn't give me a cart total!!! The newest update makes everything look very good but now it doesn't work the way I need it to work...the way I have relied on it to work for years. If not fixed I will be uninstalling and getting a different app for shopping

Can you please bring back two features? 1) Ability to move an item from one list to another 2) Adding an item via voice These were both time savers for me. 9/30/15 - Thank you for restoring the voice icon! I still can't move an item from shopping list to shopping list and I can't move or copy items from the pantry to the shopping list. Kind of defeats the purpose of a pantry...

Idiots! This was a good, simple useful app - until you forced this uncalled for update and changed literally everything. Changed the layout, the background, the lists, the list settings, log in/out then lose entire lists. This is no longer the app I chose to use (and pay for). Off to the Play store to see who does offer a good, simple, useful shopping app - because it sure as sh*t isn't you any more.

The week of August 13 has come and gone, how about a progress report? *REVISED* Thank you for bringing back the lists, widget and drag 'n' drop! Now if I could move and copy items from one list to another, I'd happily give this five stars!

Used to be great - simple list that could be organized by grocery store aisle. The programmers decided their automatic categories should take precedence over the way my grocery store organizes; the simple list has been replaced by background and foreground graphics that detract from its useability. I find myself continually updating the categories so I can organize my list by aisle because updates overwrite my settings. I'm in the market for a new app.

I really like this app. I like that it auto categorizes items as I add them. I keep a separate list for groceries, hardware and Costco. I wish that there was an option to display items from all lists and that a single item could be on multiple lists so that if I found it at Costco it would also be checked off my grocery list. Finally, a way to link to Amazon echo would make it killer.

Easily my favorite and most useful app - Easy to use and now I always have all of my lists with me wherever I happen to be so I can update or refer to then whenever I need to - And the customer support is excellent, as well - Thanks for a terrific app!!! You broke it! - I'm a software & web site tester and this latest "upgrade" is definitely not ready - PLEASE roll it back until it's working 'cause as it is now, it's just a mess - C

I purchased the Pro version because I was liking the app, but after doing so, it doesn't look like anything is different, and the app keeps sending me "You've used this version for a week, would you like to upgrade to pro?" prompts. The money came out of my account and the pro unlocker is on my phone. Is it not active?

Please bring back a cart that shows me how much I'm spending as I shop! This has been one of my favorite asspects of this app. = ) ... Question: How come when I send my list via text, it changes the order of the items on the list, it never used to do this before?

I've used this app for several years, but only recently I discovered one of its best features ever: automated capturing of recipe ingredients from online recipes. No more need to add the ingredients to your shopping list manually - Out of Milk will do it for you through the share feature on Chrome. You can then save the actual recipe as well. Awesome!

I give it a 5 because it is a great app! I have been using it for free for a long time, figured I'd "upgrade" and buy pro version. After installing I couldn't find the pro version so I kept using my same old free version, which still is great! Now I just read that there is no difference, I just "paid" for a license, which is fine because I think it's worth giving an "offering" for a great product!

Have the Pro version and have used it and recommended it for years, but with latest version, the decimal/special character key doesn't work on the amount purchased field. Also, no option to sort history items alphabetically. Since these features are important to me, I may not continue to use or recommend the program unless these features are fixed. Samsung Note Edge 5.

It's a great app, BUT.... since the recent new update - can't get the 'drag n drop' to work to manually sort lists. And when adding an item it won't let me edit it (to put it in a category) until after I check it/save it. Just kind of a hassle to have to find it then edit it. It was easier before.

Pretty good app with a few idiosyncrasies. For instance, you can enter prices for items, and sometimes it remembers those prices when the items are added to a list again. But, sometimes not; doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it, it just appears to be random. Another is that the Android app and the web app don't seem to communicate much. For instance, while my state's sales tax rate has been entered in my Android app settings, and it works fine, my settings for the web app show that info to be blank. Otherwise, a pretty good app.

I decided to purchase the pro version after my wife and I messed around with different ways of adding items. We had been using a promo version of Buy Me A Pie that reverted back when we upgraded our phones. Out of milk has in my opinion greater functionality and is easier to use. I really like that it puts your items into catagories and from there the lists are fully customizable by dragging into whatever order you like. We found the sync worked well too.

IT WAS a Great App that I could not do without before... but now it messed up all my shopping list & pantry which that means hours of work. High & Low for items in stock I want to know how much I have left...can't even copy or more item like it used to...Sorry Guys usually when there is an upgrade it gets better not worst

This used to be a very capable shopping list app. Then they introduced "automatic" categories and wiped out all of the manual categories I had set up. Now my entire shopping list is gone. Not to mention the ongoing sync issues that have not been resolved. Look elsewhere for your shopping list needs.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVED Out of Milk before the upgrade. Then afterwards my to-do lists got majorly messed up (now thankfully fixed) but still not fixed is the missing coupon indicator in shopping lists. It's a very big deal and not only to me - please bring it back!

What is going on here? I received a support ticket # days ago. Still no answer and my whole pantry has disappeared from my PC. And, the new and improved app you released won't sync even the first time. This is the poorest app I have ever attempted to work with. Unfortunately, for me I have spent many hours filling my pantry expecting OOM to improve not get worse. And, that's what you have done.

I didn't choose to update to this new, widget free version. I just woke up one day to discover I'd been downgraded. I paid the whatever money it cost to get the fancy widget version. It was worth it. I'm now on the lookout for a new shopping list app. I loved this app! If I had my widget back, I'm sure I'd love it again. When's the update to fix this?
