its a very good app to keep an eye on growing kids. But If I want to turn off the notifications it doesn't , why . when I desire to check then only should I be notified . I want to turn off the notification tell me How can I do so??

It didn't work for me. I had it correctly setup on two phones (latest marshmallow OS). I went out for a trip and each phone tracked itself correctly but not the other phone. The only way i could get a proper map update showing the correct positions was to do a "locate" on the other phone and wait for the notification. Then i needed to click on the location to update the map. Too much trouble really. Why it does not update the other users on the circle is a mystery. I tried various combinations using GPS and high accuracy location (gps, wifi and bluetooth) and there was no discernable difference.

App shuts down every time you try and locate a person on one of the phones and simply won't work on the other. We did manage to get this to work for a very short time but there's no support when things started going wrong. I would pay for a program that would actually work. This one does not.

Ever. Places are set, notifications are on. Ditto on the other person's phone. Can't see any reason this isn't working. Besides that, I'm getting notifications from my phone that it's using a lot of battery. I tried. Sticking with Life 360.
