Cerita Rakyat Nusantara

Kisah Rakyat / Legenda / Cerita rakyat adalah cerita atau kisah yang asal muasalnya bersumber dari masyarakat serta tumbuh berkembang dalam masyarakat di masa yang lampau. Cerita ini menjadi ciri khas (tradisi/budaya) pada bangsa (kota/tempat) tersebut, yang mempunyai kultur budaya dengan keaneka ragaman termasuk didalamnya khasanah kekayaan budaya serta sejarah pada setiap bangsa (kota/tempat) yang diceritakan. Biasanya, cerita rakyat bercerita mengenai suatu peristiwa pada suatu tempat sehingga menjadi legenda asal muasal tempat tersebut. Tokoh yang berperan pada cerita rakyat biasa berwujud manusia, binatang, maupun para dewa.
