XStitch Designer

The screen zooms in dramatically every few stitches which is very disruptive, and it's hard to figure out how to use this app.

Every time I open the app I get an error saying it has stopped and it closes. I'm beginning to think I wasted my money...

I use this app for crochet patterns and it works very good but I wish you could pick how many rows wide and long the pattern will be as its never an even number

I like that this app is way better than any cross stitch pattern making app I've seen because I can freely create instead of just converting pictures. However, I like to create on a grid that will match the gauge of cloth I plan to use so I know what the finished product will really look like.

The DMC colors are all wrong. Just bought all wrong colors:(. Need to fix. I love the patterns that it gives better than the other app. But other app gives right colors.

It does what it needs to do, would be nice if you could make larger images.

Amazing it does everything it says.

Needs improvement. Cons: You can't print directly from the app. You can't lock the design once you're done working on it, meaning you have to completely avoid touching it. When printed in color, you can't distinguish individual black stitches. There is no color fill for large areas. *Now it won't let me open an emailed design and randomly fills empty areas with white stitches after saving.* Pros: Designing small charts with this app is quick and intuitive. Allows free-hand designing or from image. All the major floss manufacturers are available.

I spent 6 hours working on 3 different designs today, saving along the way, of course. This app only saved about 1/3 of the two designs I had finished. Waste of a day, waste of money.

No fill option, no selected list to reference until saved, no outline option.

Absolutely brilliant, it is just what I was looking for to create a special piece as a one of. The picture is alot clearer than other programes I have tried!!!

I like to stitch reproductions of the paintings by the great masters: Van Gogh, Monet, Mondrian, and the like. This app is robust enough to enable me to import photos of these masterpieces and recreate them in fabric and floss. It can handle as many colors as I've asked it to. And I can use it for needlepoint instead of cross stitch with a little creativity. My only (minor) complaint is that sometimes the initial setup can be difficult to get right. But it's not enough of a problem for me to downgrade it a star. Absolutely fabulous!

Everytime I try to click one of the create buttons, it says Astich has stopped and closes.

Does what it claims to do. I like being able to make lasting memories of my family members. Thanks for the app.

No detail at all. Disappointed.

Great for designing, but it would be nice if the patterns locked so that I wasn't in danger of messing up the pattern every time I referenced it. I also second the request for fill. If I have a large area to fill, trying to move quickly causes the focus to zoom out.

This app works well and does what it says but you can not alter size etc if you import a pic from your device. There is also no way to control the number of colours used if you import a pic. If this was sorted it would easily be a 5

I've had a lot of fun using this app, but it would be a whole lot better with some more simple features. I would like to be able to save templates, to copy and paste sections, to fill in sections, to drag colors to make lines, and to lock colors so I don't accidentally color over them.

Please update!!! I love this but really need to be able to make a bigger graph!!!! An its a little hard using when zoomed in, it zooms out by its self!! Paid for this please update or give me my money back!!

This is perfect for making pictures on the fly. They are clear, easy to read and very professional looking!

The app only uses the most basic cross stitch, there is no backstitching, no quarter or half stitches to help add detail. You can't create large patterns with lots of colors if I wanted to make a small basic pattern I could do so using graph paper and colored pencils.

I love this app. Just what I was looking for, but no button to print or do different stitching such as back stitch lettering or outlining.

I was really impressed by this app when I made the first pattern from a picture. Then I went and purchased the list of colors for DMC that it indicated, only to get started and find that none of the symbols and colors on the pattern correlate to the floss key! This makes the patterns pretty useless! I would appreciate a refund for the app purchase!

A much-needed app, but I wish it had options to make different types of stitches. :

just some litle things. would be nice if it would be posible when you leve blank spots they stay blank and not automaticly turn to white stitches And would also be nice if you could make bigger disigns
