Bible Course is a simple tool for learning and acquiring a wealth of biblical information.
Biblical studies are the academic study of the Judeo-Christian Bible and related texts. Other texts frequently examined by biblical scholars include the Jewish apocryphal, the Jewish pseudepigraphs, the Christian apocrypha, the different varieties of ante-Nicene literature of early Christianity, and ancient Jewish literature.
The research of biblical scholars is often called biblical criticism. It does not presuppose, but does not deny, the belief in the supernatural origin of the scriptures. Instead, it applies to the Bible methods of textual analysis used in other disciplines of the social and humanistic sciences. Numerous biblical scholars also interact with traditional Jewish and Christian interpreters and methods of interpretation, which may be termed biblical or hermeneutical exegesis and history of interpretation or history received.
This Bible Course is an introduction to studying the Bible taking into account the steps of careful observation of the text, then its interpretation, application, and correlation, plus a light look at other methods that the student can use in Self-study of the Word of God. Also consider the benefits of reading the scriptures and explain how to prepare, organize and lead Bible studies in order to evangelize and disciple.
We must read and study the Bible because it is totally reliable and without error. The Bible is unique among many self-appointed "sacred" books because it not only offers moral teachings and says "trust me," rather offers us the opportunity to test it, corroborating hundreds of detailed prophecies it contains, verifying historical events that Relates, and checking the scientific facts he describes.
