Fusion WOL allows you to create and manage computers and groups of them, and power them on from your device. This tool implements the Wake-on-LAN protocol to power on your computers remotely over the network (and the Internet).
Wake-on-LAN uses a special network message called a "magic packet". The target computer listens for a magic packet addressed to it and then initiates system wake-up. This protocol is implemented on the motherboard (BIOS) of a computer and the network interface (firmware), and is consequently not dependent on the operating system. In order for Wake-on-LAN to work, parts of the network interface need to stay on.

Works well. for others.. will not shut down as that is not just a simple Magic Packet like is used for waking a system. each OS has its own shutdown command and method. complicated to add to a program like this.

Most reliable wake on lan app I've found that works every time and resolves hostnames so you don't have to look up ip addresses like you do for many wol apps. Only one weird thing...if I click on the bar that says "default" the app crashes every time.

This is the only app I found that shows the ON status reliably. But the ping will not work from the WAN. It only works within LAN. For me, the only way to get it to work from WAN is to use PPTP VPN.

Set-up was easy and works without a hitch. Also told a IT tech friend about it and got to impress him as well.

Works fine, and has lots of options, but interface is broken (for example radio buttons - tcp / udp / both). So it leaves a sloppy feeling.

Set up a number of awkward to reach PCs and can now easily switch them on when phone joins the network. It just works. Nice!

Finds MAC addresses for you and compatible with homeplug adapters which has been an issue with other Apps in my experience.

It works but the ui colours are ugly how about make it look like halo theme, honestly the gray/yellow makes me to want to vomit seriously. Other than that it works as expected.

Love the discover MAC feature, about time someone eliminated that mundane task. This app would be even better if it could have an optional daemon/service mode that would auto-wake specific machines when connecting to known wireless networks.

The app has a severe bug: When you send a magic packet and press cancel, the app will never stop transmitting unless you reboot your phone. Causes massive battery drain.
