A coronare una passione, e da un idea risultata poi in seguito brillante della famiglia Aprea, nel 1985 nasce RADIO NUOVA SAN GIORGIO.
Papà Antonio, mamma Anna e i loro cinque figli Giuseppe, Camillo, Carmine, Liberato e Massimo danno inizio alla scalata che, a tutt'oggi, grazie anche al consenso e alla gratitudine del pubblico che ha sposato dal primo giorno la presenza sull'etere dell'emittente, risulta poi vincente.
Che sarebbe diventata LA RADIO PIÙ AFFERMATA DI NAPOLI lo si è capito subito, grazie alla serietà e la professionalità della gestione e della conduzione, tutti gli addetti ai lavori (cantanti e pubblicisti) si sono avvalsi di questa magica frequenza come unico trampolino di lancio per le loro affermazioni.
Sicuramente come tutte le attività, anche il cammino di Radio Nuova San Giorgio non è stato facile, perche giorno dopo giorno, aumentando la popolarità e il successo dell'emittente, iniziò ad aumentare anche invidia ed ingiurie dovendo così lottare contro tutto e tutti che cercavano di mettere bastoni tra le ruote portando un'immagine sbagliata dei titolari alle opinioni pubbliche ed agli addetti ai lavori.
Dopo 8 anni (il 5 e il 17 Giugno 1993) la famiglia Aprea fu colpita da una forte disgrazia che ha lasciato, ancora oggi, un segno indelebile nei propri cuori, la scomparsa dei genitori.
Dopo una consensuale e pacifica riunione tra i fratelli Aprea si decise di affidare l'attività nelle mani di Camillo e Massimo facendoli diventare unici proprietari della stessa emittente.
A tutt'oggi, 2014, la scelta fatta nel 1993, è risultata giusta perche con la gestione unica di Camillo e Massimo, ha portato enormi benefici facendo fare passi da gigante alla stessa emittente, così da guadagnarsi il nomignolo di: LA RADIO DEL CUORE DI NAPOLI.
