IMPORTANT: Measurements capability depends on the phone. Check here - http://www.gyokovsolutions.com/survey/surveyresults.php

G-NetTrack uses new API17 functions for serving and neighbor cells.
If your phone manufacturer has not implemented correctly needed functions for reporting there is still hope.
Try this:
1. Go to Settings - Calibration and check 'Use old functions' for serving and neighbor cells. This will make phone to use old functions, which may be correctly implemented by phone manufacturer.
2. Go to Settings - Calibration and check 'Force updates'. This will help if your level and cell values are correct, but are not updated.
3. If nothing of above helps you have to update your phone software or wait for such update if it is not available yet.

The app measures level, quality and frequency (Android 7) for serving and neighbor cells. Only for 4G also SNR, CQI and timing advance are monitored.
LEVEL, QUAL and CI depend on technology:
- 2G - RXLEVEL, RXQUAL and BSIC
- 3G - RSCP, ECNO and PSC
- 4G - RSRP, RSRQ and PCI

See G-NetTrack Pro manual - http://www.gyokovsolutions.com/manuals/gnettrackpro_manual.php

Measurements can be recorded in logfile. You can also start optionally voice, data or SMS sequences in order to monitor the network for blocked and dropped calls and to measure upload and download bitrate and SMS service success rate. You can find kml exports and tab exports in folder G-NetTrack_Pro_Logs on sdcard.

You can postprocess and analyze logfiles with G-NetLook Pro - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gyokovsolutions.gnetlookpro

If you have information about the sites you can create cellfile and you can view sites on map - see the screenshots. Put the file in the folder G-NetTrack_Logs/cellfile.

What about multisim? Notice have to turn off either 1 to display info correctly.

Liked the app very much. Some observations/suggestions given below: * Why Signal Level/Quality Values Changes so Slowly? Do you have customizable option for the interval of Signal Level/Quality Refreshing * Need for "End Logging based on pre defined Time Period" (Example: after Start logging, it will stop logging after 2 Hours) * Changing Color Legend option need for QUAL values * With Android version 7 version, can all mobile will have the Quality, SINR, CQI, ARFCN value reporting capability

Hello! Reasonably you get for first time this bug report since this phone is in the market for one week only. In umts it does not show any signal information. In LTE works fine! (Nougat)

Great Costumer support, I really appreciate everything you've done and good email communication. I really appreciate you converting my CellRef file to CellFile. I need to figure out a few more things but dont have the time now, but will dig in. I'm using Motorola X Pure

Quite interesting and practical for most RF Engineers..

LTE great but on my S7 if I lock to UMTS I get nothing, signal just shows -113 all the time, and the RNC and CellID is either blank or shows the last LTE eNB ID.

Is there a chance to develop an app where we could lock our phone on one freq? Something like TEMS.

Very useful and user friendly... but I am still hoping that the next update is, you can view full details of the sites if you click it in the map. I tried the gnetlook, you can only see the cell name per sector and logs but not its site name. Where/how can I reply here?

Please fix this problem. I use samsung s6. The level value (ex rscp) often freeze in -83 or -51. Ive already take the advices to tag force value and old function value and serving in option menus but it doesnt work. I will change it to 5 star immediately if the problem has been solved

I use Samsung Note 5, but measurement RSCP, RSRP always freeze. If we open the app and get -80, the value never change untill we restart the app, then feeze again. Plz patch the bug for Note 5. Solved after "force update"

I used to get the serving cell name and a line to my serving cell on map by using a cellfile, but not happening anymore. I am using Galaxy Note 7.

Using Note 5 and LTE node data goes blank and does not refresh.

X70%

Hang at 'drawing cells' stage. I only have about 27+K cell. Already tick 'visualize only surrounding sites' and 'load only site in range'. No issue if using normal G-NetTrack. Can load until 65k cell without any issue.

I loaded the pro version on my Samsung note edge. While checking out a UMTS/HSPA Network, it's stuck on the initial PSC and RSCP is constant at -113. ECNO and SNR are not displayed.

Pretty good. Had a bit of trouble with the cellfile load. Required a manual delete of a generated clf file to fix. Can you log throughput by app like Network Monitor Mini reports it? Couldn't see how to get 3D maps going. CA would be great. Terrain profile like gmon would be nice. Considering gmon was free, and it seems to handle any size clf people looking at this should check out gmon first. Love the sequencing. Could do to allow custom sequence. Also when sequencing begins logging should auto start.

X70%
by X####:

Is there any limitation number of cell that can be loaded? Because in my case I loaded more thank 50K cell and it always stuck at 46400. Is it any solution for this issue?

X70%

I will rate 5 start, if this apps can lock service cell.

X70%

Useful for drive test / walk test

I have used many tools like this one. This one is very good. One request would be to display the frequencies/band actually in use as that info is available. Other apps show it. I know you are showing band type, but with device bouncing between 700 and aws bands at times (verizon), would be good to show in addition to technology.

I would like to see support for Carrier Aggregation.
