Ebook Converter

This app mets most of my needs. A few changes would improve it a lot for me. I can't convert to my external sdcard so I have to transfer files to the device storage then transfer them back to external sdcard where I keep my books, and if forget to do that it does the convert but no converted book is ever found thus wasting my limited internet as it doesn't give warning or error message. Also the ability to do batch converts would be very useful.

This is a great tool for converting your book files to other formats. The only issues I've ever had with it were attempting conversion of HTML files or PDFs, and in both cases, that is far more the fault of the original file format than the conversion process. But if you plan on trying to convert a lot of PDFs to another format, you might want to look for a more specific app for that. Assuming there is one out there that works any differently.

(Or at least I assume so as I had no problems previously and I was using it with no problems a few weeks ago) First time using it since the 'update' and it keeps crashing when i 'browse' to select a book. Fix and will re-instate my previous 5* and comments

worth every penny, if you complain of this software, please verify the following: 1. you dont have a cheap phone 2. you have enough space 3. you aren't pirating DRM files 4. the ebooks trying to convert are not corrupted 5. i agree with batch conversion (it doesnt cost the dev for every conversion..tsk..tsk) 6. a powerful software does not need to upload a file to convert, (this should be offline unless the dev is keeping ebook copies for himself) 7. if you have an ebook of another langu. contact dev first!

Badly needs a batch option so I don't have to do epub files one at a time

Converted my .lit to epub in less than 15sec. Kinda expensive, but I think worth it over the long haul. ADD BATCH SUPPORT!

I've had it over a year now, it hasn't given me any real problems. 1x it was giving me an error saying there wasn't any network detected but I'm pretty positive that was because I had just done a system update and 1 I haven't been pleased with since so it wasn't the apps fault. My only wishes are for #1 larger file size capabilities, which they have increased since I 1st installed but of course more is more, and #2 is a bulk conversion option would be sweet! But overall I am pleased with this app. ;)

Would give 5 if a different file location could be set as default. Switching back and forth is a pain.

Frustrating and couldnt transfer the documents from word.

Didn't save the files anywhere even when it said it had, unhappy. Would like a refund.

Does exactly what it says. Has an good but could be improved for the less competent user. Would be nice to have an option to set a default destination directory so wouldn't have to set it each time you convert a file. Other than that, good work.

You can only convert one at a time. Would be awesome if you could have a queue to select multiple files at one time

This app worked perfectly! So glad something finally worked for me. I converted and opened in my reader without any trouble.

Lacking a few rather obvious features but whatever. It works.

Converted many drm free epubs to mobi with this app. Never a problem. It appears to work by uploading your document to an online service, then downloading the resulting file. I don't know the privacy ramifications of that. I like and enjoy this app but if you need something more robust, try Calibre (on Win/Mac/probably Linux too).

When I got this app a year or so ago, it uploaded and converted books quickly. For several months now it hangs up once it is uploaded and can take a few minutes to finish the conversion now. Wonder what happened? It would also be nice if you could convert multiple files at once

It took me more than 2hours to convert a simple small html file to epub and it still not done!! I closed and try it again. But after 1hour, the file still on process. How can this be????

Easy to use, functions perfectly, and editable. Love the fact it does .TXT to .EPUB

Really useful. PDF files can be transferred to e pub or any other file type. Making it easy to be read by most eReaders. This app does the complete process with ease, transferring it to the cloud and back again to your device changed. Tried others but this is the easiest to use. My thanks to the developers for makimg a complicated process easy.

The free apps that used to convert to mobi has limited converts and when you go over a limit you have to wait or pay. This does the job and good value for under £2 with unlimited converts. Please keep the good work going because I use this for my Kindle keyboard. I appreciate your efforts and love my Kindle keyboard. Long live ebooks and text Converters like yours. Also love using this for any PDF files into Mobi format for my Kindle keyboard.

Awesome app. Initially, I thought it's bogus but I later learnt the trick that it only converts files stored on device storage. Would have given it 5 stars if it supported batch conversions.

Works well especially with Astro file manager . It needs an internet connection as all converting is done in the cloud. I use it on my phone to convert books and then email to my kindle.

The app converts most ebook formats and does it fairly quickly. You will need an Internet connection to convert.

I'm not always one to like buying an app straight off the bat without first being able to test run its claims, but I was nonetheless satisfied with the outcome herein. As far as awarding 5 stars, I'd have scored it a further 0.5 for being able to convert .rtf straight to .epub; and another 0.5 to be able to select extSDcard folder(s) for the output files - but of course, as we've heard, there's the permissions issue (I assume). Still, a worthy addition to any devoted readers' apps!

Not user-friendly, not ease to select input file. After converting, insert a "Microsoft Word" prefixing the converted file name.

Just Purchased today, tried to upload a mobi ebook, says can't find file. even a file from phone memory ...

The reason why I am never going to give up having an android phone is apps like this. I am a voracious reader and this app allows me to convert almost any book into the kindle format. Great App!!!

I have sent you a mail. But no response. This app doesn't work at all! At least with my phone.

It works great for me on my galaxy s4 and my new tab S. I just converted two files to mobi's. In the past I've had an error or two but 99% of the time it works great!

It used to work but does not anymore. I always get html error after file is uploaded. Email to support with the screen shot remains unanswered.

This converter is awesome. It took all my kindle books and converted them so they would read perfectly on my new nook. Only problem was I had to do each file individually. Wish there were a batch convert option.

Company doesn't seem to exist. Tried emailing and going to their website- neither work at all. App doesn't deliver any of what it promises on either of my devices. Would have preferred to give them a chance to rectify the situation before giving this review, but no contact seems possible. Feel like I wasted my money- really wish they'd refund but there is no one to contact. I'd happily rate this app higher if someone actually contacted me and got the app working. As it is, I feel I have been conned.

After I payed $$ for the app it still puts ads into the book, no different from the free versions. And to top it off u have to be on-line to convert a book!

Sure, you can do this online on a number of sites, but this simplifies it in a few clicks, then send to kindle, email, or wherever.

If the file name in Russian that isn't possible to convert the file. If in case of conversion in the mobi format to change the book or author name in Russian, then in the mobi file there "____" Если название файла на русском языке то не возможно конвертировать файл. Если при конвертации в формата mobi изменить название книги или автора на русском языке, то потом в файле mobi там "____"
