I adore the app and the community, however I have an issue with the community notifications. Whenever I receive a notification, my phone will get stuck in a notification loop and keep beeping at me, often for several minutes. I also really wish that we could turn on/off notifications for a specific chart, or subscribe only to post notifications from the original chart owner, not every time someone else comments on it. So for now, I"ve had to disable all notifications just to stop these issues, and have had to manually check in on charts, taking away from the experience.

Kindara is a great app for using FAM. There's so many great options and customizations, although I do wish I could view my chart in landscape on my phone. However, due to the lack of FAM education amongst a large proportion of its users, I don't recommend using the community as a learning tool, especially if TTA. There are many risky practices shown in the shared charts, which will surely result in unintended pregnancy, due to the rules not being followed. This is not an issue with the app, though, just something to be aware of. Ensure you educate yourself before using Kindara as an accessory to your TTA FAM journey.

Easy to use but I assumed it would learn from previous cycles and predict accordingly. It doesn't. My cycle is 29 days and starts on a different day each month but every month it tells me my period I'd due on a Sunday. Why?!

I have been using this app for a while and really liked this app when I first started using it. Pretty simple to use. However as time as gone on i realise some things i want to note down through my cycle are not available. The bbt should be in 4 digits especialy, as the temperature shifts can be so subtle. I think the old style temperature format is poor considoring these shifts are so subtle but important in a womans body. I have started using another app recently called glow which does a count down to your period, gives you percentages for change of pregnancy and green and red days. The apps are really advancing to be like a lady comp. I think its time for kindara to make some some upgrades now too.

I loved the app in the beginning. However, since about April/May, it's stopped telling me the length of my previous cycle. It's easy enough to double check on my own of course. But when chatting with my doctor it was nice seeing all my info at a glance. Still a nice app despite this.

This app is way more glitchy than the iPhone version. And I used to be able to chart even without wifi nor data, and I can't even open it on here without it. It's been making it difficult to stick to charting everyday as a result.

UPDATE: Please fix an issue with scrolling between days, it keeps blanking amd crashing on me! What's amazing about this app is its non predictive nature - having to mark things yourself really makes you practice the method. Though I wish this app could record the time of temperature taken, as well as assigning custom symptoms different colors on the chart for more clarity in reading - as it is, they can be too dull to take in at first glance. Also, it's easy to make mistakes with scrolling between the days - even when I'm careful to drag my finger wide enough, it's often not registered. Finally, I would appreciate an option to make Monday the first day of the week, have a dd/mm/yyyy date format, and 24h time format. Otherwise, it's a visually stunning and intuitive app.

It's a great app for charting and community support. Unfortunately a number of bugs make it frustrating to use at times. Refreshing halfway through writing messages can drive one insane (or if the screen sleeps and you return to the app) as the half written message disappears; notifications occur multiple times for the same message which means writing messages becomes difficult as you have to cancel or click off the notification box to continue writing a message; the old version used to have a list of charts being followed under the persons name and then you could easily navigate to the one you wanted, now there's just a list of all charts and it's hard to navigate or find the one you want to look at. Apart from the bugs it's a good app.

I'm disappointed that I can't draw a cover line or export my charts. I've also noticed some of the "how to" articles don't apply to androids in any way, shape or form (for example, the how to give feedback article isn't accurate for Android users, and I couldn't figure out how to give Kindara feedback, hence my bad review on here instead). Will give five stars when the app is better suited for androids and the developers don't cater solely to iOS users.

I understand that to delete a cycle, u have to unselect the mens. Not happening. It doesnt merge with prev 1. So cycle 1 yestrdays date and cycle 2 s todays date. Probably improve ur app. It's kinda annoying when u accidentally put wrong info and there's no easy way to delete.

The app isn't bad but I'm not a fan of the display options. Basically you have a sliding graph that only shows one month you can't loom at an over all look for a year or the past fee months. Also the flipping between days on you calendar drives me crazy it takes several times for it to flip to a past day. I'd also like if something would show on the calendar to notify that a note was made otherwise I have to hope I remember the date to find the note again.

Updated review, bugs have indeed been fixed and it's a pleasure to use again! This app used to be great but now it's buggy as hell! I can't search, I can't click on tags, I can't view profiles and I had to turn notifications off because my phone sounded like it was having a seizure whenever I got a notification. Sad, because I used to love it.

It's convenient but how do I save my chart? Also the colours for CM are too similar imo it makes it difficult to decipher the differences at a glance.

Amazing resource for anyone trying to avoid pregnancy under the current political administration, especially when we don't know if our right to choose will be taken away tomorrow! Very empowering, super informative Knowledge Base, very responsive assistance team for any app-related glitches that arise.

I have no chart for this cycle at all. The last chart ends on April 25 and then all I get is a small one day chart for April 26, then no more chart. My current cycle only shows as ONE DAY when I'm nearly three weeks in! I've recorded up through yesterday (May 19th). I might have to use another app if the charting isn't fixed soon. Is charting discontinued? Also, again like I put last time when I made a review, it'd be nice to have a slot to record weight. Also, it's highly annoying that it takes several times to flip through one chart or one recorded day.

I used it ro track my cycles and conception attempts, it was failry close at predicting ovulation periods and it dis help us get pregnant. But there are a lot of available features that were really confusing and disnt make sense and the latout could have been simpler and sleeker is these werent there.

Kindara is by far my favourite tracking app as out of all the apps I've tried its the most focused on using FAM for contraception. I love looking at everyones charts, the community aspect and the educational section is informative for those learning the method. Over the years of using kindara I enjoyed using it despite some of the small glitches that would annoy me and affected the ease of use, such a it refreshing when you've written a reply or caption and having to write it out again about 5 times! Or not allowing me to unfollow a chart and it staying in my followed charts for months. However, recently it's become even more glitchy eg. When I've completed a chart for some reason it breaks it up and creates a small 3-4 day chart out of the last days of my one chart. I also recently updated to the new app and definitely prefer the old app. I now can't tap anywhere on the day I want to go into and edit, I have to click the small section at the top. On the section where I put in my info for the day, it doesn't let me completely scroll the bottom and cuts off the bit to "add custom". The worse thing about the new app is that I can't just scroll through my feed to check out people's charts. The charts don't show, so I have to click onto where the chart should be then the chart shows but I have to go into everyone's post to look at the chart then come out again back to my feed. Which kind of ruins the community aspect as I've stopped bothering to look on my feed. However, I love the app and been charting with it for two years! Hope this is all due to the new app and that these glitches will be smoothed out soon!

The problem I have with this app is that the Android version is a little too different from the iOS version and not completely in a good way. On iPhone I was able to see my period/fertile day predictions on the actual chart but not on Android?? Are y'all serious? That's a basic necessity that should be on both versions. Also the landscape viewing is annoying because instead of seeing everything in one screen, I have to scroll over and the exporting my chart as an image option doesn't seem to be there like it was on iOS. Also scrolling between days is difficult. It almost doesn't let me do it without excessive dragging and it's annoying. It makes looking back at past charts hard for no reason. I enjoy this app for tracking purposes but it's a real shame that y'all are just leaving Android users behind like that. Please update so that everyone is on the same page...We shouldn't be missing out on basic features...I hope y'all are having a beta for Android users because I sure would sign up!

This app is spectacular. It is so easy to use and very aesthetically pleasing. The community is by far the best feature with this app. The Kindara community is a super easy (and anonymous) way to post your chart, ask questions, or help other FAM users out. In addition to having a FAM community page, this app also has its own knowledge base that has helped me answer plenty of questions I've had through my FAM journey. I highly recommend trying this app out.

New to charting and this app is very easy to use. There's a huge section that has information on FAM and tracking your cycle if you're a beginner or just need refreshing. You can also share you chart with fellow users and everyone is really helpful. It has created such a community of women. It's amazing.

Most helpful for tracking cycles. Love it!

Z70%

I love the look of and the mechanics of tracking my symptoms. However, the app has some really annoying bugs. It splits my cycles at random points and shows them as two incomplete cycles and starts the second half of my cycle at day 1 so my cycle days are off. Kindara does have excellent customer support and does respond promptly after they receive a complaint but so far have not been able to fix my problem.

Changing my review to 4 stars. The information commented below is correct. After closing and reinstalling the app... it still appeared on the "Create Account" screen to put in the info for my name and passwords creations. I hit back to clock the app like it does all other son my phone, and it went back several steps to the proper screen mentioned in the comments. So the app is amazing. Just remember that when you change devices, hit the back button a few times if you already have an account

I like the simplicity of Kindara, you can add only symptoms that actual mean something to yourself, and it doesn't have any food data like Ovia, which I like. One thing I wish it had, was the time of temp taken, and if the time wasn't within your normal temp time, the plotted dot on your chart should be a empty circle, not a solid circle like when you taken it on time. That would be VERY helpful. I use Fertility Friend app still because no other app has there feature. I can't wait to go down from 4 apps to 1 some day. I hope Kindara will be that app. But not sure yet.

T70%

Great app for charting! Easy for you and others to understand and sense of community for support as well. The iPad version is hideous with the new update, but I do like the Android design

T70%
by T####:

Using it over 2 years and it's working for me. I would recommend it to my friends along with Taking charge of your fertility book. Update: new look of this app is terrible. I really dislike it, new logo even worse, reminds me on sports brands, not my feminine side.

T70%
by T####:

My wink has stopped syncing with the app on my Android since the last update. Pairs via the Bluetooth on the OS just is no longer recognised in the app. Very sad that appears company doesn't test with Android.
