PONG - Reply from Android Wear

Whatsapp, Hangouts, etc sorted fantastically well on the moto360. Convenient beyond belief.

However, it would be nice if the notifications on the watch disappeared if they are manually removed on the phone.

Would be a great app if inbuilt keyboard is there... But still works as advertised...

Please allow us to load/save replies from a file...

Using on Moto 360. Really helps with communicating on the go. Use it with hangouts and facebook messenger. Is there a way to initiate a message using fb messenger, though? I can only reply. Adding that capability would be a huge improvement! Love initiating texts and using preselected responses. Sending emoticons as image files would be cool - that way everyone could see them. All in all great app - Keep working!

I never give a good rating as I am a really fussy person, but for this app im willing to make an exception, I found myself using this app every single day and I hardly reply using my phone anymore, that how good this app really is, I was kinda sad when each of my message contain watermark but then you guys has add and option to remove it, that make it perfect for my daily use, I hear that in the future you guys wanna add the keyboard feature, that I cant wait, love that this app is free, thanks a lot

Been using pong for awhile.. But these past few days starts crashing.

Finally an app who gathers all the social notifications into one, especially Whatsapp and with ease! I would recommend to add the usual emojis since the special emojis of the app do not show on other phones or watches.

It keeps displaying the same notifications for whatsapp after I dismissed them.

I downloaded this app because I loved having separate notification card per contact on my watch. Every text message seperated by person, but pong doesn't do that anymore. I don't even get notifications from pong on wear anymore even though they have access.

The app is perfect what what it is intended before. Very fast, simple and customisable. My only problem is that there is no way to prevent it installing both the Pong app and the SMS app on your watch, as I really have no use for the Pong app

I think it is a good idea. But Hangouts and SMS already have a reply option. What it needs it the ability to send a new message by voice. If that is an option now, it's not obvious how one would do that.

It's ok would be nice if the person could see the picture on the other end but they don't.

Exactly what I needed, should have been included on the wear device as standard especially for WhatsApp. The ability to edit quick responses is perfect!

It is good but I do not like the pong msg added at the end of my replies.

Very helpful app. use it all the time. Update : finely no watermark great work,hopefully you will increase the no. of predefined messages, & maybe add a keyboard wishful thinking

First of all if you try the voice input you will see there is no option to cancel the message, this needs to be corrected. Also when I reply to my whatsapp messages I see that I need to click on reply twice inorder to see the options for reply. The emoticons look good on the watch but what's the use if the person on the other side cannot see it? Also, The icons can be made smaller to fit more on the screen so that the reply can be fast.

Keypad is missing though. U could give that option. That would make it complete package. Interface is nice. Requires more messengers compatibility. As I use disa messenger with it not compatible.

No you can not reply to all messages from your watch on hangouts and your stock messaging app and few other miscellaneous apps but not all

Please add text fields so that we can type using Microsoft keyboard and minuum. Typing on the watch might not be mainstream, but since you guys are halfway there please add text fileds. Keep up the great work.

I can answer to sms whats up .....

Every text I send has a watermark attached that you can't shut off. I'm not spamming my friends and family. I'd rather use Coffee Messenger and not throw ads via text.

Can u please give an option to remove the watermark. It's so annoying to keep explaining myself to people on why I'm adding the brackets to the end of my messages.

I actually thought something like this would have been standard on android wear, so this has really filled a void for me. Especially since the Apple watch seems to be using the idea of quick response options. There are other apps that try to provide concise ways to communicate from your watch but this one ticks all the boxes for me. Hope to see it expand further in the future, perhaps incorporating doodles or something...

Reviewed using Moto 360. Software version 4.4W.2 PROS + easy to setup + notifications show up instantly + My Messages quick reply is great + app is smooth and responsive CONS - Message on watch does not clear when cleared on phone - Cannot remove watermark brackets in quick reply - Large Icons option does not appear to work SUMMARY Finally an app that allows you to quick reply using personalized text! This app works really well and finally gives me a more practical reply using my Moto 360. If the developers can improve on the CONS section above, I'd give this 5 stars. The "Pong Friends" is a fun concept, but seems very impractical. The stickers - which look great - only show up when sent to a smart watch. If it's received on a smart phone, it just shows up in descriptive text, which looks a little odd to the recipient. If the developers changed the stickers to register as traditional emoticons, I'd be much more likely to use that feature. Or at the very least, adding in an emoticon reply option would be nice. For the time being, you can just create your own in My Messages, which is nice. Great work and please keep developing this!
