نفسی داشتم و ناله و شیون کردم
بی تو با مرگ عجب کشمکشی من کردم
گرچه بگداختی از آتش حسرت دل من
لیک من هم به صبوری دل از آهن کردم
لاله در دامن کوه آمد و من بی رخ دوست
اشک چون لاله سیراب به دامن کردم
در رخ من مکن ای غنچه ز لبخند دریغ
که من از اشک ترا شاهد گلشن کردم
شبنم از گونه گلبرگ نگون بود که من
گله زلف تو با سنبل و سوسن کردم
دود آهم شد اشک غمم ای چشم و چراغ
شمع عشقی که به امید تو روشن کردم
تا چو مهتاب به زندان غمم بنوازی
تن همه چشم به هم چشمی روزن کردم
آشیانم به سر کنگره افلاک است
گرچه در غمکده خاک نشیمن کردم
شهریارا مگرم جرعه فشاند لب جام
